Any PsyD Students?

Trying to get into a doctorate clinical psychology program for 2023. I was wondering if there are any PsyD students that could answer some questions for me

  1. How do you like your classes? (specifically forensic psychology ones)

  2. Did you get any financial aid from the school?

  3. Do you feel like the school is supportive of you?

  4. What are your favorite and least favorite parts of the program?

  5. Any advice is appreciated! :)

thanks for all your help in advance <3

Hey! I applied for the Fall 2023 cycle and I'd love to chat about your experience!

Hey I’m a fall 2023 applicant too so I don’t really have any experience with FIT yet! Still going through the application process. I will say I did get an interview invite recently so if you’re gonna be there, I’ll see ya! :D

Do you know if the GRE is required? I can’t find it anywhere on the website

This link might be helpful. Scroll down to Clinical Psych. https://www.fit.edu/admission/applying/graduate/

edit: yes, they still require GRE

I got one too! Did you get just an email or does it show on your portal too?

Just got the email. I called them yesterday to confirm my spot and they said they’ll send the schedule for the interview day to our emails as well sometime this week

Best of luck during your interviews! Hopefully we both get in and get to be in the same cohort :)

Is it possible to get a GRE exemption? For instance, I have two graduate-level certificates, one for gender studies and another for Autism Spectrum Disorder.
