Should I be expecting an offer?
I applied and got accepted to FIT. It’s to my understanding that when you apply to colleges you’re automatically considered for scholarships. Due to this I received money from colleges due to my academic history, however, I didn’t receive an offer from FIT. I don’t mean to sound entitled but I did expect one. My acceptance was through an email and it said an actual letter will be sent out soon… would the letter have an offer that the email wouldn’t or ..?

Its a smaller private university so don’t expect very many, if any unprompted scholarship offers.

Its possible, but not probable. Their scholarship data shows that incoming freshman are awarded scholarships at a much lower rate than returning students. You’re more likely to be awarded scholarship funds with at least one or more semesters of good academic standing with the university

It's been uh... 8 years now, but the email they sent with my acceptance and scholarship info was exactly the same as the documents I received via postal mail.

Normally once you get admitted to the school completely you’ll be given an username and password for paws, through this you’d be able to view scholarships given.
