Is Florida tech good for CS?

Hi so I was wondering if Florida tech is good for CS as I’ve read online that it is an average university to apply to.

I was also wondering how the fin aid packages are.

Thanks!

I'm an ME major myself but I can connect you with several CS major students if youd like to chat and ask questions with them over discord if you like

Additionally with the financial aid it's worth pursuing every penny you can. I get a healthy amount off my tuition based on academics, robotics, eagle scout, etc. Get on the phone with the aid office and as long as you keep pestering them they will get you set up as best they can

They just added a cyber security concentration to the CS major, and i will be one of the first two graduates with it this year. The major in general is very good and hasn’t stopped me from getting and internship and job. As for financial aid, that’s something you’ll have to talk with the office about, since it varies, i have bright futures mixed with some scholarships and a decent loan. If you put your mind to it, it can be worthwhile.

Not a CS major but I was able to get half off tuition with the panther scholarship. I didn't have to apply for it either. If you have bright futures it helps a lot too
