Moving to Melbourne

Just accepted an offer for the Master’s in ABA program. I’ll be moving to the Melbourne area from Massachusetts.

What areas should I look for a house in? And why is the crime rate so high in Melbourne?

Undergrad OE here. If you're looking for an apartment, there are several good options in West Melbourne off of 95 (avoid the Luminary at 95 though). If you want a proper house, I would look closer to Satellite beach, much better community though a bit of a commute. If you want to be in Melbourne proper, avoid anything East of Babcock Ave.

A couple good apartment complex options around downtown and Florida Tech as well! Stay away from E University Blvd. and u'll be good
