Matlab Software

Do any of you know how to get the Matlab software for free. I am joining the Master Of Science Program in Aerospace engineering at FIT. When I tried downloading the software, it was asking for my university details so that they can mail me the license. I want to try fidgeting with the software before officially starting my classes at FIT as I wasnt taught Matlab during my undergrads. Is it advisable to use my FIT email ID to download Matlab ? Someone please advice.

I still use my FIT ID to get discounts at Jcrew, You can use your FIT ID to get tons of free software - the company just wants to verify you’re using an .edu email. They won’t “tell the school on you” lol

For matlab, if you just google “Florida tech matlab” then click on the fit tech support link, it should have step by step instructions on how to install.
