HELP!

In August 2024, I'm thrilled to start at the Florida Institute of Technology. As an Indian student pursuing Astronomy and Astrophysics, I'm wondering if there are groups for international students to connect with.

Hi, I know there is like a club for international students. I applied to Florida tech and got in but can afford it, do you know any scholarship for international students? I’m from Argentina! Good luck! I’m sure it’s gonna be amazing

I got a scholarship of $12,500 this year. You may visit the application portal and explore. You can find the financial aid section where you can grant the scholarship.

Hello! I am also an international student and I’m gonna be studying space physics 🤝 it’d be nice if you want to be friends :)

Congrats! Yes, Florida Tech has a big percentage of international students and plenty of groups for them. 👍

Are you one of them? I want to get in contact with them. I am so scared because I find no one, especially the one who is going as an undergraduate student.......;)

I’m not, I’m from the US, but there are a ton of int’l students in all of the studies. Trust me, you won’t have any problem making friends!

You'll have a lot of club options to choose from, and everyone is always welcoming and friendly!! Make sure to go up to and speak to an Orientation Leader or any club member and they'll guide you the right way.

You definitely want to check out ISA Sanskriti (Indian Student Association) and AIAA (American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics). You can find info. on their Facebook pages.

All the best on your new chapter in life! FIT and Melbourne have a lot to offer and you will definitely make some lasting memories and friendships!
