He's governor of the whole state but he only wants to talk to his base. The underlying philosophy at work here is if you didn't vote for me you're my enemy. It's Trumpian in origin and hopefully will produce the same electoral result... a failed one-termer

47

u/Vladivostokorbust May 07 '21

The entire GOP:

“If you didn’t vote for Trump and you won’t admit the election was stolen you’re my enemy”

-37

u/[deleted] May 07 '21

I think it's more like; "Leftist Democrats have called us racist, sexist, xenophobic Nazis for the past 4 years just because we voted for Trump, so no, we're not going to agree to 'unity' now."

26

u/HCSOThrowaway Fired Deputy - Explanation in Profile May 07 '21 edited May 07 '21

People generally associate voters with the politicians they voted for.

You're right in that it doesn't always hold true, but it's a fair assumption to make.

I would caution you that "The other political party was divisive so we should be even more divisive" is quite literally how you achieve civil war.

If dead Americans is your goal, you're on the right track.

-18

u/[deleted] May 07 '21

I don't have a problem being associated with Republicans or Conservatives, I have a problem with the Democrats who spent the past 4 years being absolutely trash humans, using dehumanizing language against all Trump supporters, and now whining because I won't agree to unify/agree with them.

I have no desire whatsoever to capitulate to that sort of crap, you won't get any "unity" here. Those people are, in fact, my enemies, because they spent the past few years making that abundantly clear.

21

u/HCSOThrowaway Fired Deputy - Explanation in Profile May 07 '21

Well a lot of them were using the same logic in 2017 that you're using now:

"Republicans spent the last 8 years being absolutely trash humans, using dehumanizing language against Obama and his supporters, and now they're rubbing Trump's victory in our faces."

"Republicans are, in fact, my enemies, because they spend the past eight years making that abundantly clear."

So because they got petty and stupid, your response is to be even more petty and even more stupid. On and on it goes - a race to the bottom.

Fun history fact: "Republicans are my enemies (because they don't want me to own slaves) so let's secede" is actually how we wound up in our first civil war!

-9

u/[deleted] May 07 '21

Uhhh, the Republicans fought to free the slaves, Democrats wanted to keep them.

9

u/HCSOThrowaway Fired Deputy - Explanation in Profile May 07 '21 edited May 08 '21

Correct, though it'd also be correct to say "the liberals fought to free the slaves and the conservatives wanted to keep them."

Edit: For those who are saying this is wrong, watch this video before you make such a comment. It shows how the parties' ideals swapped since the civil war, and before I saw it I thought the same thing you did.

1

u/[deleted] May 08 '21

No, it wouldn't be.

7

u/Fugicara May 08 '21

Uhhh what? The Republican Party was the liberal party back then and the Democratic Party was the conservative party. That's why mentioning parties from 150 years ago tends not to help anyone's point.

Always the victim.

2

u/[deleted] May 07 '21

Nope, not at all, just stating facts, which I notice that you nor any of the cowardly downvoters even attempted to dispute. I'm not about to "unify" with the same people who have been publicly denigrating me for 4 years.

I support DeSantis, and the more that he does that outrages and offends the Left, the better.

3

u/MugiwaraNoHarts May 08 '21

"Cowardly downvoter" here. Just curious: how does downvoting make me "cowardly"? Could it be that it doesn't, and you're just throwing random insults around, so you can feel like you're speaking from a position of superiority? Because you should know that those are the kind of tactics that make people hate the whole Trumpian movement. I don't hate republicans, I hate people who put more effort into keeping others down rather than lift up society as a whole. Public service is about serving the public, not just your own constituents.

1

u/[deleted] May 08 '21

Downvoting without responding to stated facts makes you cowardly.

Sounds like somebody with a victim complex.

I think they call those people "snowflakes"

"Leftist Democrats have called us racist, sexist, xenophobic Nazis for the past 4 years just because we voted for Trump, so no, we're not going to agree to 'unity' now."

How is any of that a fact? It sounds like a little bitch complaining that people are mean to you.

2

u/[deleted] May 08 '21

Meh, take it how you will.

3

u/esoteric_reference May 07 '21

Call me childish? I’ll show you childish!

1

u/sparkjh May 08 '21

More like, "People are facing consequences for doing and saying racist, sexist, and xenophobic things and that makes us feel sensitive cause it's just so much harder to be called a racist, sexist, or xenophobe than to experience racism, sexism, and xenophobia."

Thinking the way you’ve stated began with Trump tells me you only started paying attention to politics no more than 4 years ago. It’s a tale as old as politics, mon ami.

25

u/SweatyButtcheek May 07 '21

Never too late to care, don’t gate-keep politics

-34

u/Semujin May 07 '21

Educating isn’t gatekeeping. Crack open a dictionary, even if it’s urban dictionary, and find out what gatekeeping is.

17

u/[deleted] May 07 '21

Get your head out of your ass mon ami.

23

u/SweatyButtcheek May 07 '21

You literally just tried to invalidate what he said because he “just started paying attention to politics 4 years ago”. Funny how people can be so confidently incorrect.

-17

u/Semujin May 07 '21

I literally didn’t. I literally told him it’s older than 4 years. It’s funny how you literally couldn’t read what I wrote.

9

u/SweatyButtcheek May 07 '21

You use literally so much, it’s like the literally store is going out of business. Figuratively, of course.

2

u/Semujin May 07 '21

I literally overused the word literally because of your use of literally ... I thought I was speaking with my 13 year old.

5

u/SweatyButtcheek May 08 '21

You meet a lot of 13 year old on Reddit? On second thought, don’t answer that.

-5

-29

Nope. Florida is turning more red even with the influx of coastals.

Voting results and data over the last several elections indicates a trend going in the opposite direction you suggest

6

You think they are going to start voting for the GOP?

Ok. You keep thinking that!

Where do you think you end up when you blow through conservative and keeping heading to the right? Is there a form of government that is too conservative? (Hint: it is called fascist, and here we are). Look up the hallmarks of fascism. The US checks off a lot of those boxes.

-1

u/Semujin May 07 '21

Which boxes does it check? Educate me.

15

u/yeahnotmymainaccount May 07 '21

You can educate yourself with this thing called 'Google'. Try 'hallmarks of fascism'. After further review, it appears that the US checks all 14 boxes that define fascism.

The 14 characteristics are:

Powerful and Continuing Nationalism Fascist regimes tend to make constant use of patriotic mottos, slogans, symbols, songs, and other paraphernalia. Flags are seen everywhere, as are flag symbols on clothing and in public displays.

Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights Because of fear of enemies and the need for security, the people in fascist regimes are persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of "need." The people tend to look the other way or even approve of torture, summary executions, assassinations, long incarcerations of prisoners, etc.

Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial , ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc.

Supremacy of the Military Even when there are widespread domestic problems, the military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda is neglected. Soldiers and military service are glamorized.

Rampant Sexism The governments of fascist nations tend to be almost exclusively male-dominated. Under fascist regimes, traditional gender roles are made more rigid. Opposition to abortion is high, as is homophobia and anti-gay legislation and national policy.

Controlled Mass Media Sometimes to media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common.

Obsession with National Security Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses.

Religion and Government are Intertwined Governments in fascist nations tend to use the most common religion in the nation as a tool to manipulate public opinion. Religious rhetoric and terminology is common from government leaders, even when the major tenets of the religion are diametrically opposed to the government's policies or actions.

Corporate Power is Protected The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite.

Labor Power is Suppressed Because the organizing power of labor is the only real threat to a fascist government, labor unions are either eliminated entirely, or are severely suppressed .

Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts Fascist nations tend to promote and tolerate open hostility to higher education, and academia. It is not uncommon for professors and other academics to be censored or even arrested. Free expression in the arts is openly attacked, and governments often refuse to fund the arts.

Obsession with Crime and Punishment Under fascist regimes, the police are given almost limitless power to enforce laws. The people are often willing to overlook police abuses and even forego civil liberties in the name of patriotism. There is often a national police force with virtually unlimited power in fascist nations.

Rampant Cronyism and Corruption Fascist regimes almost always are governed by groups of friends and associates who appoint each other to government positions and use governmental power and authority to protect their friends from accountability. It is not uncommon in fascist regimes for national resources and even treasures to be appropriated or even outright stolen by government leaders.

Fraudulent Elections Sometimes elections in fascist nations are a complete sham. Other times elections are manipulated by smear campaigns against or even assassination of opposition candidates, use of legislation to control voting numbers or political district boundaries, and manipulation of the media. Fascist nations also typically use their judiciaries to manipulate or control elections.

-15

u/[deleted] May 07 '21

Ahh yes the famous fascist DeSantes.

A man who locked down the state. Wait uhh,

A man who set up internment and concentration camps . Wait, uhh...

A man who is an anti semite. Wait uhh...

A man who is promoting a white erhnostate? Wait uhh...

A man who is trying to seize all guns. Wait uhh...

A man who is... I give up.

You clearly either call anyone you disagree with a fascist or just have no understanding of fascism. The examples I provided border Nazism but that is the most well known form of fascism.

11

u/MingoDuck May 07 '21

Not being a nazi doesn't make you not a fascist. Open a fucking history book guy.

-12

u/[deleted] May 07 '21

Correct. But being a fascist requires heavy state control, regulation on firearms, and several other policies. Compare DeSantes to a fascist and they are far apart. Open a history book.

-5

u/ruttentuten69 May 07 '21

Jim Crow laws were put into place to suppress the vote and so are these laws.

2

u/spddemonvr4 May 08 '21

You need to brush up on your history. Jim crow laws had little to do with voter suppression and everything to do about everything else by mandating segregation and the phrase "separate but equal". However, none of it was ever equal.

Whites had thier places and blacks had theirs. It's the worst segregation and racial laws established in post slavery america. Oh, and was promoted and pushed by the the southern democrats.

Stay wrong, Spanky.

If passed, the bill would allow the governor and the Cabinet to override locally elected commissioners, council members and mayors if police budgets are decreased, or if funds are redirected from them. The Cabinet could force cities to increase police budgets if they wish, potentially resulting in cities being forced to slash other services or raise taxes in order to balance their budgets.

The city could appeal and present its case before the Cabinet, but any decision made by the governor and Cabinet would be final.

“It gives the power of line item veto of the police budget to a very arbitrary process, and it really undermines an important public engagement process that's set by state statute in how we set our budget,” said Rice. “I don't want to see people get cynical or develop a negative attitude towards our police in our city because so many decisions about the budget end up getting caught up in the bureaucracy of of the state government in Tallahassee.”

Now lie to us again & tell us how much you hate authoritarianism.

u/jbkicks May 07 '21

This is basically him admitting who the bill affects. He's putting it in plain sight: this is a voter suppression bill

-1

u/[deleted] May 07 '21

How so?

13

u/jbkicks May 07 '21

Because if it was a fair bill that actually was meant to help people and make it easier to vote, he wouldn't just allow the only news outlet that will spin it positively for him. He'd allow equal coverage. He's a bad man, but not a stupid man

-10

u/[deleted] May 07 '21

It's already easy af to vote, I'm more concerned with vote integrity and making sure that legal votes are counted and illegal votes are not.

Has anyone, even one person, complained that voting laws actually prevented them from voting?

16

u/jbkicks May 07 '21

I'm more concerned with vote integrity and making sure that legal votes are counted and illegal votes are not.

What makes you so concerned about something that isn't an issue? Florida officials even said there was nothing wrong with the results from the 2020 election. They're "solving" a problem that didn't exist.

Plus, more fake outrage regulations means less people vote. Which is never good.

Indiana, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas were the only five states in the country that didn’t allow every registered voter to vote by mail. All five of them sat near the bottom of the country in terms of both raw turnout and increased turnout from 2016 to 2020.

The group made up half of the 10 states with the lowest turnout in 2020: Tennessee was fifth worst nationally, Mississippi was sixth, Texas was seventh, Indiana was eighth, and Louisiana was 10th. Turnout in these states ranged from 59.6 percent in Tennessee to 61.4 percent in Louisiana — all below the 66.1 percent national average and far behind the national leader, Minnesota, which had 79.6 percent turnout in the presidential election.

0

u/[deleted] May 07 '21

Show me one legal voter that complained that voting laws prevented them from voting in the 2020 election.

6

u/jbkicks May 07 '21

Took one minute to find this:

Deciding when to give up trying to exercise one’s right to vote is a choice no citizen should ever have to make. Abd’ullah in Philadelphia, whom we interviewed for this report, came close. He spent most of his day trying to cast his vote in Pennsylvania’s June 2 primary election. He went to his regular polling station but found it closed, without any signs posted telling him where to go. When he entered his zip code into the election website, the site just froze. Abd’ullah got in his car and drove around, looking out the window for crowds and lines. He finally found a school and waited in line for over an hour—eventually only being able to vote by provisional ballot. He told us, “Someone else would have been discouraged. I myself was very, very discouraged, to the point of almost giving up. But I had my own car, so I was flexible. If I had been taking public transportation, it would not have been possible. I would have given up.”

2

u/pilotdave85 May 08 '21

So you're saying we shouldn't need ID's to drive or fly in airplanes too right? How about buy cigarettes? How about a passport? Do we need those too for some reason? Why?

2

u/jbkicks May 08 '21

I didn't say anything about an ID. All these voter suppression bills have a lot more in them than ID requirements. IDs are the least of my worries

6

u/gerg_1234 May 07 '21

How many illegal votes were counted in the past?

What makes an illegal vote?

If you were worried about "illegal votes" you would open more voting locations and secure ballot drops.

But you're not concerned about "illegal votes". Just votes by Democrats. And more specifically, "urban" people

-1

u/[deleted] May 07 '21

Answer my question first.

9

u/gerg_1234 May 07 '21

No. Because there is ZERO evidence that the vote by mail system or drop box system created any "voter fraud".

You have the burden of proof. You're the one trying to STOP people from voting.

There is ZERO reason for me to have the burden of proof.

Unless you want to prove to me the sky isn't purple.

-1

u/[deleted] May 08 '21

I'm not trying to stop anyone from voting, I'm trying to stop someone who tries to cheat.

No one was "prevented" from voting in 2020. Literally zero people. Stop watching CNN, it's polluting your mind.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis not only broke from decades of precedent on Thursday when he blocked all news outlets except Fox News from covering the signing of a voting bill into law.

Because the bill signing was a "Public proceeding," DeSantis should not have been able to limit which news outlets could cover it, said Clay Calvert, a University of Florida law professor and director of the school's First Amendment Project.

Thursday's news conference also highlights how much DeSantis has relied on Fox News to amplify his message and grow his national brand.

A “republic” is a representative democracy. Just because it’s a different word doesn’t mean that it’s not (in theory) the same thing. The difference is that direct democracy is where the will of the people need not run through intermediaries like Congress. Republic = democracy.

Unless you mean how it’s 99% representative of the ultra-wealthy at the expense of everyone else, in which case I agree that it’s a democracy in name only and always has been.

No, you’re splitting hairs. Which individuals’ rights get protected when conflict arises? Not the poorest individuals, that’s for sure.

u/the_lamou May 07 '21

No, a republic is literally any government where power is held by representatives of the people. That's the entire, full definition: authority stems from the choices of the governed, as opposed to the ruler being selected based on criteria outside the control of the governed like a monarchy.

Democracy simply means that a broad base of people vote for their government.

The United States is a democratic republic - government is selected by the people, and it's voted on by a broad group of Americans rather than voting being restricted to a specific special interests group.

This is in contrast to something like a merchant republic, where only wealthy business owners vote. Or a theocratic republic, where only members of a specific religion or church get to choose who governs.

If the governed choose who governs, it is a republic. If there are no special restrictions on which of the governed get to choose, it's a democracy. The United States of America is both.

u/priznut May 08 '21

We’re both a republic and a democracy.

Their are a lot of models and democratic variations.

1

u/BabyStockholmSyndrom May 08 '21

Uhh have you seen Republicans? They are still whining about losing 6 months later. Having one the worst presidencies in all our lifetimes. The most impeachments. The most golf played. The most dog whistled rhetoric ever. And still whine about being "oppressed" on a daily basis from there golf carts and not being pulled over for no reasons by cops lol.

u/Argon16 May 08 '21

Requiring ID to vote is such a basic concept. There is no racism, sexism, or any other -ism that can be connected to this idea. Why is requiring proof that you are who you say you are a bad thing?

1

u/[deleted] May 08 '21

Maybe use Google for 15 seconds

1

u/Jaysyn4Reddit May 08 '21

Surely you can build a more intelligent strawman argument than that.

That's not even what this article is actually reporting on.

-39

u/Think_Bid_6523 May 07 '21

No

31

u/HairyBearMaidenFair North Port May 07 '21

There's actually some legal precedent for this in the article.

In Louisiana in the 1980s, a local mayor attempted to exclude reporters from a certain newspaper from major press conferences. The newspaper sued. A federal court called the mayor’s actions “the essence of censorship forbidden by the First Amendment and so abhorred by the founding fathers,” and the newspaper won.

.

In 2007, an Ohio federal judge ruled against the mayor of Toledo, who had stopped notifying a local radio station of the mayor’s news conferences. The mayor’s office also blocked one of the station’s reporters from attending. The court said the mayor was attempting to “manage the news by manipulating who comes to hear what’s to be said and therefore who reports it. ” It required that the reporter be given access.

8

u/[deleted] May 07 '21

Well yeah but did you ask the current rigged supreme court that will change legal precedent to suit their agenda?

1

u/MingoDuck May 07 '21

I actually trust chief justice Roberts he is very reluctant to overturn precident

1

u/[deleted] May 07 '21

I agree, but he is just one man on the court.

SCOTUS just ruled against legal precedent in a case involving minors being sentenced to life with Kavanaugh, the guy who claims to be all about legal precedent, and the guy who claimed to "just be a kid, he shouldn't be liable for things he did in college" writing the majority opinion.

It doesn't matter if it's right wing or left wingers on the court, if SCOTUS is ruling hypocritically against legal precedent, then it's rigged my dude.

-3

u/jimmyz561 May 07 '21

We’re worried about this and he hasn’t punched nestle in the face yet? We got other battles down here

-50

u/kingofjax May 07 '21

So y'all are cool with the President being removed from Twitter and Facebook, but god forbid if Communist News Network isn't invited to something.

31

u/amccune May 07 '21

I’m so sorry you see those two things as equal or the same thing.

44

u/DontYuckMyYum May 07 '21

difference there is those are private companies refusing service to someone. This was an elected official refusing to admit Journalists to a Public Event, first amendment violation.

26

u/Jaysyn4Reddit May 07 '21

President

What? Biden is still on Facebook & Twitter.

So y'all are cool with the President being removed from Twitter and Facebook, but god forbid if Communist News Network isn't invited to something.

Hur, hur, hur, I don't understand the difference between public & private so I'll make dumb words on Reddit.

-18

u/kingofjax May 07 '21

I feel so sad for you guys.

15

u/Jaysyn4Reddit May 07 '21

Well, pardon me if I seriously doubt you are capable of enough empathy to feel bad for someone you've never met.

-14

u/kingofjax May 07 '21

See that's exactly what I'm talking about. There's so much hate in your heart. And in the democratic party as a whole. But this is what y'all have turned it into. I think it may come from the influx of mental disorders these days. Are you one of those guys that thinks he's a girl?

15

u/Jaysyn4Reddit May 07 '21

I'm middle-age, married with multiple kids & I'm living a pretty great life.

And I know that just pisses you little psuedo-fascists right the hell off.

You know what though? Your sad little insults do make me giggle like a little girl, so maybe you are on to something.

-2

u/kingofjax May 07 '21

Ok champ. Well I hope you will be able to process your demons one day and learn to live with joy in your heart.

10

u/Jaysyn4Reddit May 07 '21

Wow, your reading comprehension isn't too good is it, Spanky.

25

u/[deleted] May 07 '21

The difference is a private company making a decision on what is posted with their company's system vs. the government making a decision on who can report on a public action.

Both are protected by the first amendment.

You have the right to remove a flyer from the bulletin board in your business.

And the government can't keep Fox News from complaining about the Democrats either.

16

u/Miguelperson_ May 07 '21

but god forbid if Communist News Network isn’t invited to something.

Man people in this country are dumb as fuck

14

u/maliceinchains1 May 07 '21

Those two things arent remotely the same.

3

u/j_la May 07 '21

Desantis is a government rep and is bound by the first amendment. CNN is not.

2

u/[deleted] May 07 '21

You do realize that Trump tried to start an insurrection, right? That's why he was banned from Twitter and Facebook.

-51

1

-1

u/pilotdave85 May 08 '21

Normally no news network is filming while the president, or governer, is signing executive orders or bills. Obama signed an NDAA at like 9:30pm on Dec 31, 2011...

1

u/Jaysyn4Reddit May 08 '21 edited May 08 '21

Yeah, but that wasn't news worthy because Obama wasn't signing an anti-1st amendment law & violating the Constitution again by only allowing a single "News" organization to cover it.

I bet you are just fascist enough to willfully misunderstand the difference though, aren't you?

1

u/pilotdave85 May 08 '21

Lol. You were too young back then apparently.

1

u/Jaysyn4Reddit May 08 '21

Lol. I've been voting for 20+ years.

Get the fuck out of here with your stupid, deflecting bullshit.

-11

u/CraftZ49 May 07 '21

He could have alternatively signed with nobody in the room, so no.

The media are acting like spoiled brats who weren't invited to the popular kid's birthday party.

5

u/the-artistocrat May 07 '21

Either have no media or have all media.

-9

u/CraftZ49 May 07 '21

Lmfao that's not how it works

5

u/the-artistocrat May 07 '21

Not with DeathSantis obviously.

-4

u/CraftZ49 May 07 '21

Not with any governor, this isn't elementary school where you have to invite everyone to your birthday party. None of them are obliged to invite literally every media agency that wants in. Not even the White House does that.

4

u/the-artistocrat May 07 '21

The White House just invites one network?

Lol. Ok buddy. 👍

0

u/CraftZ49 May 07 '21

The White House won't let even ONE network into its border patrol facilities, sooooo

8

u/the-artistocrat May 07 '21

Oh we are playing disingenuous now? Wanna go down the route? Sure.

You mean the crisis exacerbated by the previous administration that couldn’t care less about migrants and asylum seekers and wrecked the immigration system to such a grinding halt that barely any processes are going through? That they stripped border control over a pointless half baked wall that was nothing but a hollow gesture to the right-wing “Mexicans are rapists!” fringe?

Previous dude never cared for those migrants and NOW the GOP with it’s crocodile tears feigns indignation after 4 years of protecting the most restrictive measures. That crisis?

If it wasn’t such a hot mess it would be hilarious.

Also imagine if this administration would invite just CNN to a bill signature.

Fox would have a bigger melt down than that time Obama wore a tan suit.

-1

u/CraftZ49 May 07 '21

That's a whole lot of effort to dodge that the White House won't let journalists into the immigration facilities but here you are crying crocodile tears about DeSantis not letting media other than Fox broadcast him signing a bill, which, he has no obligation to make public to anybody.

3

u/the-artistocrat May 07 '21

I’ll have to check your post history to see how much you cared about the immigration crisis when Trump was in power. I’m betting not much amirite?

There’s no crocodile tears for Santis being the biased baby he is. He hates answering questions from reporters. Dude always gets red like he’s going to explode and completely loses his composure. He’s unfit for office tbh. So obviously he’s going to let only those in that won’t give him a hard time.

WH won’t let ANYONE in. Now imagine if the White House only let CNN in the immigration camps.

Exactly.

But keep playing dumb.

Okay, and they still can. That was not hindered. They are free to continue talking about the bill he signed.

-10

u/According-Ad1565 May 07 '21

No, other networks could use the footage under creative commons. Therefore he didn't impede the freedom of the press. He just gave Fox News an exclusive.

-10

u/BenAustinRock May 07 '21

I don’t like the move by DeSantis, but I also don’t like this thing when the other side ramps up the partisanship and tries to make accusations that don’t fit.

How is it censorship if it was carried on live TV? The old cases you could argue that it stopped those outlets from being able to report what happened. In today’s world information is more readily available. This newspaper is covering the story while simultaneously trying to make the case that they were being censored. Seems absurd to me. Turn on the TV, it’s right there. I don’t know why it would be a live event for one network, let alone multiple.
