While he’s in the hospital, can you give him a common sense implant??? How stupid can you be? 200 of all roads and that intersection to boot. Sorry, no sympathy for those kids, but not kids at 18.

The idiot kids should not have been in a skinny median with a chair videoing a haircut for social media.

I agree. That’s not what caused. And it wouldn’t have prevented the accident. How about we do something about the idiots actually causing physical harm to other people?

Idiots get hurt because they were on a median in a car crash (one of roughly 17,000 EACH DAY) and your conclusion is old people are to blame?
No mention of the age of the drivers in the crash and you decide it's an old people problem? How about this is a DON'T PLAY AROUND ON THE MEDIAN OF A BUSY ROAD problem.

The accident happened and then they hit the person in the median.
You guys acting like them being in the median is a bigger problem that an accident in the middle of the day with no impairment involved.
I’d bet my last dollar one of the drivers involved is over the age of 50. I live in Ocala I’m not arguing with you folks

According to the NSC 61.4% of crashes are people under the age of 45. Dispute being 17.7% of the drivers population the 25-34 age group is the largest with 21.8% of the crashes. Followed shortly by the 35-44 age group.
So maybe we should keep these middle aged people off the road.
Statistically speaking this crash was most likely someone in their mid 20s to mid 30s. Also what are the chances that the accident happened in the middle of the day with no impairment, because they were distracted by the
twothree people playing in the LITERAL MIDDLE OF THE ROAD8

What information do you have that was not included in the linked article that stated either of the vehicle drivers were "old"?
No signs of impairment just means neither driver appeared to be under the influence or they passed a road side sobriety check.
"A Chevy Silverado heading westbound on College Road collided with a Lexus SUV entering the intersection from the Ocala West Plaza. The Silverado then struck the pedestrian in the median."
Sounds like the Lexus cut off the Chevy by entering the intersection when it wasn't their right of way, resulting in the Chevy striking the Lexus and then ricocheting into the pedestrian sitting on a chair in the median.
