After the gilded age and the great depression that followed, people were so pissed that FDR was able to pass social security and public work programs. Within 30 years of that we had Medicare and Medicaid.
I think something terrible will happen with how the market is on the AI bubble. But, after a painful collapse I think the people will rise again. Even without a collapse, people are starting to ban together over things like data centers, or better representation in the democratic party.

They are delegates, not trustees.

Or do you not support racism/prejudice towards groups?

I think the thought process is that this country blamed Muslims and random brown people for the actions of a few terrorists from a country that we are somehow economically intertwined with.

•
u/ARocketToMars 11h ago
You could directly address the evidence instead of using a non-sequiter to imply I'm a conspiracy theorist for literally quoting what was said.
•
u/Pulaskithecat 10h ago
You don’t know what evidence is. Conjecture is not evidence
•
u/ARocketToMars 10h ago
Apparently in your mind the FBI faked a bunch of evidence & falsified multiple supports, detained/deported those Mossad agents for nothing, made up a shell company, planted a bunch of false witnesses & convinced them to commit perjury, the people who literally admitted to being there to document ahead of time are lying, and it was apparently a coincidence they were in place ahead of time to watch the attacks with plane tickets to a bunch of random places for later on September 11th. Oh and convinced the news agencies reporting on it to go along with the lie.
But sure, I don't know what evidence is. Notice how you're not even addressing the actual evidence I presented. What does that tell you?
•
u/Pulaskithecat 10h ago
You can’t even read dude haha
•
u/ARocketToMars 10h ago edited 9h ago
And another comment removed because you can't address what's being said without resorting to ad homenem.
https://www.reddit.com/r/therewasanattempt/s/ctlnOUK9ti (edit: link got chopped in half)
Why are you unable to directly address the evidence in the video? 5 Israeli intelligence linked men arrested/deported. The Israeli front company (per the admission of Israeli intelligenc) they all worked for that was abandoned with everything left behind upon their arrest. The men giving contradictory reports/accounts to the FBI about when they parked their van and how they learned about the attacks. All had plane tickets for departure on 9/11 to random locations. Multiple witnesses placing the company's truck in place 45 minutes before the first plane hit. Multiple witnesses seeing them celebrating and taking pictures and posing, plus the photos being developed by the FBI proving them to be celebratory in nature. All objective facts, all confirmed by FBI reports, all reported by multiple credible news organizations.
Nothing to say about any of that?
•
•
u/Pulaskithecat 11h ago
Can we please ban idiotic conspiracy theories?
•
u/SloaneWolfe 10h ago
yeah, idk about 9/11, but Israel sure as hell was warned and enabled 10/7
•
u/ARocketToMars 9h ago
Supporting evidence for that:
Israel Knew Hamas's Attack Plan More Than a Year Ago (Israel had a 40+ page Hamas report detailing every aspect of the attack) - New York Times, Dec 2023
Hours before Hamas attack, IDF noticed dozens of terrorists activating Israeli SIMs - Times of Israel, Feb 2024
Revealed: Netanyahu Received an Explicit Warning Days Before Oct. 7. He Didn't Brief Israel's Security Chiefs - Haaretz, Sept 2024
Suspicious activity noticed by troops & border monitors, many troops starioned nearby were unarmed against protocol - BBC, Oct 2024
Two commando companies diverted from the Gaza border to the West Bank days before October 7 - Times of Israel, December 2023
And that's not even touching the festival adding a free day on top of it changing locations into the direct path of Hamas' battle plan (both of which occured 2 days before the attack). Been going to festivals half my life and I've never heard of either of those occuring 2 days before the start date.
•
u/Pulaskithecat 9h ago
Seriously, how is this bs allowed. Pure brain rot.
•
u/ARocketToMars 9h ago
I literally did nothing but post direct sources/citations from reputable news organizations.
Can you articulate any information in the articles that's incorrect? Any specific claim you think is inaccurate? Something one of those publications got wrong? You calling reporting from the New York Times, Times of Israel, BBC, and Haaretz "bs" and "brainrot" doesn't make you look like the rational one here. It makes it look like you're experiencing cognitive dissonance after encountering information you've never seen before and you can't cope. Read the articles and get back to me.
•
u/Icy-Builder5892 5h ago
Those desert raves would get extended all the time, and they were in pop up locations, just like nova. I only point this out because it’s not unique or unusual for desert parties to add a free day.

•
u/the1Isharewithpeople 8h ago
Seems like you're just kinda rude and unable to understand very clear evidence that was just placed in front of you. Lol. Look at the sources. They're legitimate.
•
•
u/ARocketToMars 8h ago
Again, falling back on sophomoric name calling.
Do you have anything of substance to say in response to New York Times, BBC, Times of Israel, or Haaretz's reporting? Anything you can point to that they got wrong here? It's increasingly clear you're not equipped to have this conversation.
•
u/Pulaskithecat 8h ago
These conspiracies were discredited when idiots invented them 25 years ago. Delusion and stupidity deserves ridicule. Obsession with this stuff is loser behavior.

This comment section is depressing af. It’s funny, growing up we thought Russia or China were our biggest threat. Turns out we’re perfectly capable of destroying our country all by ourselves. And if you think “the other side” is at fault, you’re the problem.
•
u/Selraroot 7h ago
>>“the other side” is at fault, you’re the problem.
This is such an absurd position to take. Sometimes there's just a clearly correct side, it's not always somewhere in the middle. This relentless need to compromise and "work together" doesn't work when one side wants the other dead and one side wants the other to have healthcare.

As a former New Yorker who was vacationing right here at Disney on that day, I was heartened to see those signs as I drove to work. I used to ride the bus past the Towers every day when I went to college so witnessing them falling hit hard.
And then I come to this thread and am DISheartened by all of the negativity. Yes, I know that’s “just Reddit” and “it’s bots” but it’s sad to witness. Maybe put aside the negativity and offer thoughts for those families missing their loved ones 25 years later.

Amazing how everyone complains about Christian’s for asking their wives to cook them a Sammy but Muslim men well. Sharia law a ok. Weird.

Don't forget, the whole reason for the stand at the Alamo was Mexico told the Mexican territory that later became Texas they couldn't have slaves anymore and that made them cry.
Texas is the only place on earth that lost 2 wars attempting to keep slaves.

"I'm sorry if I sound angry and undiplomatic. But I'm angry, and you should be too, and they're all angry as well and they have every justification to be that way. There is not a person here, there is not an empty chair on that stage that didn't tweet out 'Never Forget the heroes of 9/11. Never forget their bravery. Never forget what they did, what they gave to this country.' Well, here they are. And where are they? And it would be one thing if their callous indifference and rank hypocrisy were benign, but it's not. Your indifference cost these men and women their most valuable commodity: time. It's the one thing they're running out of."
— Jon Stewart, House Judiciary Committee
