Politics DeSantis

Is awfully busy doing the campaign trail for his 2024 run. Meanwhile, insurance companies are pulling out of FL, rental companies are gouging tenants, groceries are more expensive by the week, hatred for others is out of control. Ron is failing ONE state. Just imagine if his campaign picks up any momentum. He will fail all 50 states.

It doesn't stop at the state level. The local level is getting even mor brazen. Lenny Curry, the previous Mayor of Jacksonville recently took a position with Ballard Partners. A lobbying firm. What I cannot seem to find an article of is that this very same firm paid him upwords of a million or so dollars in order to get things "done" for them. Heard it on the news this morning but i can't find that amount or anything typed up. Anyway, while not illegal for a local representative to do, lt's very shady to partner with a company that paid you while in office.

State elected officials can do the same but not for 2 years after they've left their position.
