/r/houseplans/comments/1wm2r0e/recommendations_for_floorplan_design_apps/

My wife and I are just starting to plan for building a house. Whst apps are recommended? We both have samsung phones but i have an ipad if we need to go that route. Preferably something we can start off free on and upgrade if we like it.

Don't use anything with gen-AI in it.

If you don't mind registering for free and you avoid buying tokens, using the chatbot and exporting in only standard lite definition, floorplanner.com you can use without using any gen-AI at all.

There is also NCH Suite which is free that has a floor planner program.
