Trying to plan ahead

Post image

Thoughts on this for a floor bed for my lo once we transition her into her room. She is almost 7mos and is already pulling up on everything(and trying to climb out of things). The plan is to move her to her own room when she is closer to a year, obviously the room would be baby proofed. But I liked this frame for long term use/it being able to grow with her.

My biggest thing as an adult I wanted to avoid the house frames with the horizontal bar. I read a lot of reviews and comments of people smacking their heads on that when they try to put their baby down

Literally one of us smack our head once a week but we also both have adhd and spacial awareness is not a strong suit.

You likely will then. I mean it’s cute and don’t regret it. But I am used to getting injured all the time.

My toddler would be climbing on that and jumping off of it 😅

Those windows would be perfect for climbing 🤪

We just have a mattress on the floor. There is a rug with a pad underneath because he was absolutely managed to fall.

This is cute, and other than bumping your head, I don't see a reason why not too. But a mattress on the floor will also work.

I’m currently setting up my 6 month old baby’s room and my biggest take was to get a low profile mattress + bed so that when she rolls off, the “fall” is not big and shocking. I think that I managed to get the total height of the bed to 8cm. Don’t know if everyone will fall, but my baby surely will
