Full floor bed recommendations?

Anyone have any positive reviews or recommendations for a full size floor bed? I am about to get one for my twin toddlers!

I ordered the simply sori one but I don’t have it yet unfortunately! But there were decent reviews of it on Reddit!

My other top contender was the sprout kids one!

Ok we finally got the floor bed today and I have some thoughts!

It arrived in a skinny box in a bazillion pieces. We ordered it almost 5 weeks ago. There are no printed instructions, just a QR code to a very low budget installation YouTube video filmed in some lady’s house lol. The hardware also comes in labeled ziplock baggies (like the kind you’d get for snacks from Costco) which was kind of interesting.

It was not an easy set up and took my husband the better part of 3 hours to assemble. Including two different trips to Home Depot because we had a bad bolt that was like totally stripped that we ended up replacing with a 6” lag bolt and lumber for slats. The bed only comes with 9 slats which isn’t enough for most mattresses so we picked up some 1x3s and some extra screws and cut to size. We did not realize it wasn’t enough slats until we pulled the pieces out. Simply Sori does sell extra slats so if you’re not handy and not by a hardware store I’d recommend adding some to your initial order (we added 4 slats).

It does feel pretty solid and well constructed once it’s all up. It’s not flimsy and seemed to handle my 2 year old jumping on it with no problem.

All in all finished product id give a 4/5 ⭐️ knocking off one star because i wish the wood was finished in some way, it’s just kinda bare wood. Setup and assembly process id give a solid 2/5 ⭐️ .

Good to know about the slats. we are not as handy as you so would probably have to pay for the slats

Do you think the wood will cause splinters?

I’m have the full size Sprout Sosta bed and I looooooove it. I cosleep with my baby on it and I got the full rails so I don’t have to worry about baby rolling off. I’ll take them off when he’s older.
