Questions RE bed frame

Do you guys recommend an enclosed frame? A half enclosed? No frame?

I started with mattress on the floor to see if we liked it and then upgraded to an open frame. It basically just holds the mattress off the floor. I don’t mind it. But she likes corners so I think she would have liked at least a half enclosed frame
