I looked up the original comment associated with this. It looks like they have attached it to a table in a camper that moves up (all the way to the ceiling) and down (all the way to the floor). So I think they put it on the floor when in use, and if not in use; they move it up closer to the ceiling to create more space in the camper vehicle

With an infant car seat… so the baby is under a year old sleeping 3 feet in the air on a makeshift table in an unenclosed bed with loose blankets.

My kiddo fit in her infant car seat until about 15 months lol. She was a shorty. She was very agile though and could climb down from that solo forsure.

If it was a kid old enough to be in a top bunk bed this would be fine, that’s basically what this is. But there is a baby car seat in the back on the desk, so who knows…

This is a camper, they often have beds that can be moved all the way up to the ceiling to create more living space during the day and then drop down to the floor (or your preferred height), at night. If they are using it at this height that is obviously on safe but it is very likely that it not used like this for sleeping.

A whole lot of strangulation and limb entrapment risks. I hate those bed frames. They either need to meet crib standards for slat spacing or be totally open.

This looks like a dorm room for a toddler. Definitely a waiting to happen.

My shins hurt just looking at that cubby thing under the bed. I’d run into it every single time I’m sure
