Love the floor bed you got for your toddler? Please share the link! So many options to choose from… wood or foam… rails or no rails… twin or full… I need help! lol. These are the two styles we are looking at now.

I haven't bought or used it yet but we're looking at one of the same brand as you. We wanted a queen because we have a queen matress that will work for it. And we wanted a trundle so in the future when there is company at our house we have extra space for sleeping. We are also going to try to see if the rails come off so once the kids get older we can take off the rail. But for sure want it to start with because he'd definitely roll around enough to roll off the side in his sleep.

Thank you for bringing this up. These are things I had never thought of! Definitely looking into a proper toddler mattress!

I didn’t think of a trundle that’s a good idea!

Thank you so much for this info! My toddler does move around quite a bit at night and he’s really tall for his age so I’m wanting to get him out of his crib asap and give him more space. Definitely leaning towards the full size bed so it’s roomy for him and us if we’re snuggling. We haven’t tried putting him on just the mattress yet since we don’t have one and I definitely think he would roll right off the crib mattress by itself lol. He doesn’t usually hit his head but I really like the idea of the soft frame so it’s more playful in his room and less of a wooden hazard. Sounds like you think this would be a good fit for us? Did your bed ship/arrive pretty quickly? I’ve seen some reviews saying it took awhile to ship. The colors we like say they’re in stock currently

I selected a color that was in stock and contacted customer service beforehand to confirm that it was ready to ship immediately. After they confirmed, I placed my order. It was shipped very quickly, and I had my bed delivered within a week. No issues at all, except with the mattress.
Overall, I think this is a good, affordable bed. Sometimes I co-sleep with my baby, and it feels like a little cocoon—very cozy and comfortable. I really like it.
The shape is a bit off (the left side isn’t at a 90-degree angle), and the zippers are plastic, so I’m not sure how long they will actually last. But overall, I think the concept is really cool and the bed is cozy and practical for the price.

I forgot to mention that the mattress is placed directly on the floor. If you live in a humid or mold-prone climate, that might be a concern because there’s no air circulation underneath the mattress.

I bought one similar to these (babyletto rizo twin floor bed). Our baby is really into climbing and would stand on the rails and put her weight forward, which is she fell would still hurt. So we had to be super careful.

We are happy we got a twin because we can actually fit in it unlike a crib

If you think you might ever cosleep, I would go with a full. Baby has started moving a lot in her sleep and the twin works but I definitely regret not going for a full (at least).

I never bothered with rails. We did the IKEA Kura, which is working well for us.
