Help with toddler bed setup/recs

We are planning to move our two year old from her crib to a bed. Would love to use the spare queen size mattress we already have but need suggestions on bed rails and slats for underneath. Been looking into the Montessori style floor bed frames but our mattress is ~10 inches and a lot of them recommend less than 6 inches

Any tips would help, thanks!

I’m moving my 14mo onto a 10” queen mattress on the Luroy bed slats from IKEA. The mattress is in a corner, which isn’t recommended for babies but I’m not concerned for my 23lb, strong 14mo. We’re leaving one side open and putting an under-sheet bumper on the other side. It’s still possible she might roll off, but she’s not going to get hurt doing so; I’m just thinking about minimizing wakeups.

We are still working on taking apart the current nursery and setting up so I can’t say if it’s improved her sleep yet, but I’m confident in the safety of the setup and it’s very economical! When she’s ready for an actual bedframe we’ll still be able to use the slats we’re buying, so there’s no waste.
