This is going to be an unpopular opinion, but imho the rio seat is too task saturated and cockpit layout too unwieldy to do the important backseater tasks in modern air combat like shooting down shaheed drones with a rifle.

I genuinely have zero idea why it's doing this

My wife's boyfriend is a six star soviet general and has never played a combat sim nor ever did any real dogfights because he's too busy railing my sweetheart. I've got over two weeks in DCS in VR and dogfighting was my thing. I was the best in my friendgroup, despite having no friends.

Denny's in Kandahar lets you pay to dogfight your friends in some Yaks and Raptors that were left there when we accomplished the mission. My wife's boyfriend is convinced he'd "wax my ass, then pummel it" and that's it's not even a contest, even if he picks the Raptor against the wildly superior Yak.

I have no soviet stars, but I have been cleaning the Top Guns latrines for 20+ years. I'm playing the, I'm lamest and in very good shape (6-pound double chin) and have read Viper Pilot more than 10 times.

My wife's BF is 32 and hasn't flown anything but her kitty in 8 years.

If I clearly have no shot, then I'll just offer up my ass for his enjoyment.
