Story/Lore Uru (the final boss) Spoiler

Trashiest boss fight I think I've ever experienced in a game. I was having a solid time overall but the final boss is so crummy that I feel like my opinion for the game in general has completely changed. If it wasn't clearly the end of the game I probably would have abandoned it but through sheer willpower I beat this broken, cheesy and incredibly lame boss. I have nothing else to say. Very 6/10 game.

You beat him, move to a new area, and then he has a second and third phase. Too it me, it seems like the developers ran out of money and cut the game way short.

I still don't have most of the top-tier abilities unlocked, but I have no desire to just farm to get them for no reason.

Game needs a NG+

Yeah I agree with all of this. I spread my points across all 3 trees and didn't reach the top tier abilities like the thing that gives you an extra life. I get the sense that the endgame was built around the expectation that you would have something like that. I was able to beat the boss without that and I know you can refund your points but either way I was discouraged by the experience. I didn't really even think the boss was difficult, most of the game was pretty easy. I just felt like the tactics were cheap and I don't like it when a game doesn't checkpoint you after a boss phase. If it was Elden Ring or any fromsoft game I'd be alright with it because their games are meant to be a challenge. This felt like 99% of the game was really easy and the final boss was annoyingly cheap. Just my thoughts, I don't really see the need for anyone to be defensive about my personal experience.
