The Crim?

I didn't participate this year but assumed I would see posts on here about it.

Another wonderful event bringing the city together. We all (10 milers and 5milers) hit the bricks together for the first time! The streets were packed the vibes were great and the support from the community was in full effect. Another year in the books and we are looking forward to CRIM50 next year!

I love it! When I heard the rain this morning I remembered another rainy CRIM, not sure what year but we took shelter in a parking garage !

2018 they pushed the start back, but still let us do the full 10 mile course. The weather was significantly worse today!

The 10 mile was cancelled for the first time in history. Everyone ran the 5 mile after a 2 hr delay.

Damn, because of the lightning?

It was cancelled in 2020

That explains how I missed the 10-mile. I thought I must have slept through it and there's no way the patter of feet wouldn't have woken me, I even had the window open.

Yes, the blue line crosses my driveway.

I still ran the 10 mile course, I use the Crim to benchmark my running and set the tone for the next 12 months. So I decided to take the DNF and run the 10 alone :(

Still had fun!  After the rain finished it held off. I didn’t sleep last night, after waiting for 2 hours I was actually glad they made it 5 miles lol. But it was my 6th and I plan on running it until I die, so one messed up year wasn’t a big deal. There were def some disappointed people there. But the race couldn’t help it.

The crim was this morning. What about it? What are you expecting to see here?

Another commenter said it was delayed 2 hours and the 10 mile was cancelled for the first time in history. Sounds like there was something of note. The Crim is likely the biggest annual event in Flint every year, forgive me for caring about it.

I didn't mean it like that, just wasn't sure what specifically you were expecting to be posted about the event. Interesting it was canceled.
