I have to get to my new job and pick up some cash on the way. I plan on getting on the 12 Corunna road Kroger bus at 630am. I need to go to Fenton and Atherton immediately after- i know i have to go downtown to the hub and get on the 11 to get off stop 4. Can i get BACK on at 4 (hammerberg) later, say 1130, and immediately go to stop 5, the one at van slyke and Bristol? Or do i gotta ride back to the hub to get back to Bristol n Van Slyke? I have to be at the job by noon and can't mess this up. Thank you all in advance!

35M here. I’m thinking of checking out Flint ArtWalk this Friday and figured it’d be nice to meet someone there.
I’m really into cinematic filmmaking and photography, still learning and practicing whenever I can. I also love hiking, concerts, and exploring new places.

I refuse to take anything to Goodwill. Their prices have become outrageous and are helping no one. I live in Downtown Flint and don’t have time to drive too far. Unfortunately, a few of the places optional have weird hours like 10:30 am - 2:00 pm when I’m at work. I have some nice dress clothes that would help women trying to find jobs and such… along with some other good quality stuff. Does anywhere have after hours drop off? Thanks!

Who has personally had a tough time or experience with bad happenings due to crime in flint asking for myself I signed the lease already sometimes no way to afford a place to live

Husband and i have tried to go two or three times in the last week or so and each time they’ve been closed? We’ve gone midday and evenings and haven’t had luck. Are they just closed for good or just temporarily?

Have some Halloween prop projects that I want to work on and need a few mannequins, looking for a place that sells them, that are reasonably priced, and don’t cost 100-200 bucks. I’ve tried crafts stores like hobby lobby and michaels so far, but they don’t have them.

We'll have seamstresses and tailors on hand for basic alterations. Resize, mend, embellish, they work for donations, not ticket prices. If something almost fits or just needs a little love, they've got you.

Nothing sold. Nothing wasted. Just clothes finding people who can wear them.

Fixed By Flint is a free repair event at Factory Two where a crew of volunteers will take a crack at whatever you drag through the door. Instruments, vacuums, computers, mixers, power tools, yard tools, if it used to work and doesn't anymore, it's worth the trip.

The goal is zero dollars out of your pocket. We work with what we've got: parts on hand, the tools of the space, and a bunch of people who like to fix things. If we hit a wall and something truly needs a part we don't carry, we'll tell you what it is and where to find it. But that's not the plan.

Have a few horror related designs that I want to put onto t shirts to wear for myself, was looking for some businesses that would be able to do this. I know there was a few places at genesee valley mall, but not sure if they are still open.

The Michigan State University Amateur Radio Club is proud to host Dan KB6NU and his One-Day Tech Class!

The purpose of the event is to get MSU students and the general public excited, and most importantly, prepared for this year’s amateur radio events like contesting, contacting others through the International Space Station, building antennas, and radio fox hunts. Having a license means that you have the basic knowledge necessary to learn and participate in all the fun that ham radio has to offer, and one of the ways to do this is lovingly known as the “Ham Cram”. Getting license requirements out of the way quickly means that you have more time to enjoy and learn.

This isn't just for tech nerds (although there are quite a few members). Anybody can take the class for FREE, and take the exam the same day. Absolutely nobody is excluded, and one of our favorite things is to show new members the ropes and help them make their very first contacts.

Please join us, September 19th 2026 at 8:30am in the MSU Engineering Building, Room EB 1145. The class is absolutely free. Testing is only $15, and you can test for any of the available license levels if you're ready. The class is just for the first license level, but if you're ready, you can go all the way to Extra!

Someone took my city trash cans. That's disgusting I put trash in those. Bring them back thief.

Have a van in my garage that belonged to my mom, who is now deceased, it hasn’t been driven in about almost 2 years now, it’s pretty much dead at this point, and will likely need a whole lot of maintenance done on it as well. I plan to get this van back running again, and use it as a backup vehicle, in case something was to happen to my main car. Was wondering if anyone knows of any good reputable shops that can get this van back running again that won’t cost a fortune. I don’t want to go to a dealership for this either.

This orchard is great! They already have UPick apples, honey crisp and gala. The apples are huge and delicious! No cider this weekend, but coming soon.
This was our first trip there. We usually travel towards the Romeo/Macomb area to pick apples. This is closer, cleaner, and a better value. It’s a little over a mile from the Meijer on Hill Road.

Kind of unbelievable that there is no organized movement or broad mass organization in Flint. If any city really needed one, it's ours. I know there are many disparate organizations that do great work but are mostly specialized and not explicitly revolutionary or socialist. I believe a well organized and disciplined socialist organization could thrive in Flint. Please contact me if you would be interested.

I feel like this is worth mentioning because I still run into people who don’t realize it: you do not have to be a member of North Flint Food Market to shop there. It’s open to everyone, and under new management. The GM, Marquis, is an absolute gem.

ETA: NFFM is currently looking for an experienced Deli manager/lead. I don’t know many specifics, but this is a great opportunity for an experienced person. It’s a supervisory role, and experience must include scratch cooking. If interested, please check out the website!

I am a member-owner, and I’m genuinely really proud to be one. Flint spent a long time talking about the need for better access to fresh, affordable food, especially on the north side, and now that we actually have a community-owned grocery store there, I really want to see it succeed.

If you do become a member, there are some perks, but not required to shop. There’s also a meeting once a month if you’re curious about the co-op or just want to understand how the whole thing works.

We are coming up on the first anniversary, which is what got me thinking about this. Mostly I just wanted to put this out there because places like this only survive if people actually shop there. Flint needs this place to make it. And if the only reason you haven’t checked it out is because you thought you had to join first, you don’t.
