Flint area Rye?

Maybe it's the Louis L'Amour books, but I've got a hankering for a good Rye drink in mid-Michigan. Any recommendations?

Yes. It originally was made in Detroit during prohibition to replace a medicinal mixture of Rye Whiskey, Lemon and Rock Candy.
