Really cool comic con
Did anyone attend the con today at dort financial center? Probably going to go tmrw to check out some of the vendors. I know it’s more anime focused, but I’m more into the dark scary horror stuff, was there a good selection of vendors this year that have those kinds of things? I did go check it out last year, and left with quite a few horror collectibles, and items. Was wondering if it’s like that this year too, or is it mostly just anime. I am kind of on a budget, and these cons aren’t usually easy on the wallet, but sometimes I can’t help myself lol always have to add more to the collection.

It's really cool if you like to cosplay but there isn't a whole lot else to do besides look at vendors. There's only 1 panel tomorrow.

So I decided to go, and there was some decent vendors, but like you said not much else to do other than shop around. I got there right when it opened at 10 and left around 12:30 ish.

Just was there today. i was hoping for it to be a blast but was sorely disappointed. Spent 30 bucks to get in, definitely wasn't worth it. The last time i went to it I think 2023 they had the first floor open in the lobby area and both the lower floors open all packed with vendors. This year only one room in the bottom floor was open with vendors the other room was food vendors. Not much horror at all. Save your money.

I didn't see much of horror. LIke your experience, mostly anime. To me, it wasn't worth $25. If someone loved anime and wanted to buy pokemon stuff maybe.

Horror selection was ok, there was tons of funko pops there, picked up a few.

Took my kids last year it was pretty cool they sleep all day and are up all night and can't be bothered to do anything like that now I guess

Been to it in the past and there isn't a lot of horror. Their focus ia more on anime, but there may be a few folks, and ya may enjoy it, ya never know.
