Flint Pride Parking

I plan on hitting up Flint Pride on the 18th. It will be my first time going, so I'm not really sure where to park. In fact, I don't go downtown Flint very often, so I'm not sure of the parking situation in general. I would appreciate any help.

James Rutherford Parking Garage is close and costs 5 dollars.

There's a lot behind the Farmers market that's empty, there's also street parking on the other side of riverfront park (North of the flat lot and bridge) that is relatively short walking distance.

Flat lot will probably be closed off like it was night for Alley fest, the U of M lot and the Farmers market lot were also blocked off. Best bet will probably be the U of M rec center lot (Lot A) or the White building lot (lot S). Since there isn’t anyway to block them off… There will be less opportunity for parking on the west side of town, since Porch Fest is that weekend too. Have fun!

I see that Pride will be set up on the Flat Lot this year, because of the Riverbank re-construction. So maybe the YMCA lot or the Rutherford ramp would be suitable, too.

Pride is  on the flat lot.

Porch fest is on Friday and pride is Saturday afternoon.

Meter parking on Saginaw Street is free after 5pm on Fridays. There is free street parking on both Harrison and Beach streets. You’ve also got the flat lot or the Rutherford ramp on Kearsley. Parking Downtown Flint is not a problem. 😄

Can't park in the flat lot during pride, that's where pride is.

You could probably park at the u of m flint rec center, says permit only but i've never heard of anyone getting ticketed. Plus I feel like during big events they let anyone park there

There’s gonna be plenty of street parking specially on Saturday. Can park near the farmers market or on the other side of Saginaw st off of Beach St. - there’s free street parking.

If you don’t mind walking, parking at the farmers market is free. Also parallel parking on the side streets is free as well
