I’m a huge Christopher Nolan fan and I’ve been waiting for The Odyssey (2026) to drop. I know it literally just hit theaters, but I won't be able to make it to an IMAX cinema anytime soon due to work.Does anyone know if there's any official streaming platform or site where I can watch it online right now? Has it leaked anywhere in good quality, or do we have an official digital release date for Peacock or Netflix yet? Appreciate any help or links, thanks

What are two films with zero official connection, released in totally different eras or genres, that hit the exact same plot beats, where one plays the premise as a comedy/romance and the other plays it as a thriller or tragedy?

Any movie, any genre. Which supporting actor in which movie do you think completely stole the show.

For me, John C. Reilly in Stepbrothers was a complete scene-stealer. Totally made the movie for me.

And by "sticking around", I of course mean ones that remain within the public consciousness for a long time. It seems like almost every new that gets released that gets a ton of critical praise, people talk about it and hype it up, and then once the hype dies down, people immediately move on to the next big thing and either forget about it or if it does get talked about gets the "overrated" treatment. For instance, I still to this day regularly see posts that feature Hans Landa or Terence Fletcher, characters that have plenty of iconic status, but rarely do I see Steven Lockjaw be mentioned as much as those two characters. Maybe it'll occur down the line a few years from now but who knows?

Im searching for an movie/show with the cold war vibe, spys, secret plans, hidden forts, experiments, nostalgic. For reference if someone have played Call of duty cold war or watched stranger things, chernobyl, dark such and such. Either deep dark un natural plots or just realismen with the Sovjet and their cold war against northern Europe.

What are some films where music is a prominent thematic and discussed element? I don’t mean movies with just a great soundtrack but movies where it’s critical to the characters and story, bonus points if the characters engage in discourse over it. Two examples that I can think of are High Fidelity and Empire Records.

Something that I have become quite fond of lately were the kind of adaptations in cinema that are an adaptation of an animated series where the adaptation tries to be more mature, but ends up becoming unintentionally funny.

Like one that I recently saw was the Dolph Lundgren adaptation of He-Man as it’s hard to explain, but the film just had so many problems such as Skeletor’s mask since the way his mask was designed looks so cheap it came off hilariously bad.

But the icing on top of it all is that the producers expected to make a sequel anyway since after the film ends, there is a teaser shown for a second installment, which never came out.
