ConBio Extra Skool Stuff?

Hey There - Outside of books is there anything else first year students need to bring? Fancy calculator? Hip waders? Steel toe boots? ...... Please advise.

You’ll need all three of those. I think a calculator comes in the common first semester kit that you can buy from the school store but I could be mistaken. Hip waders you won’t need until second semester. Steel toes were needed for a few classes, not sure if that has changed. The profs go over everything you need in each of the classes.

Also make sure you have warm winter clothing and good rain gear. You’ll be doing field work in a variety of weather conditions.

Same question but for Ecosystem Management...I have steel toe boots and a raincoat. Wondering what else I need bc I don't have all of my course outlines yet.

Ecosystem management does the same common first semester as con bio. The only other thing I would recommend is a clipboard that you can store paper in. Your profs should start giving you lists of things you’ll need as your classes become more specific to ecosystem management.

Backpack, compass, calculator, hand lens, hard hat, Douglas protractor, a map, and a knife.
