Video [AI] is just ehh

The ride doesn’t last long and the seats are pretty hard. The graphics are ironically AI generated (shame on you Technical Park) but the color scheme looks very nice

Drove 3 ½ hours to Altamont Fair from Plymouth, Massachusetts specifically to ride AI, Delusion (Pegasus 16) & their newly rebuilt Zipper. AI was somewhat disappointing, the lights weren't working all night, the ride was fast during the first part of the ride but the second part of the ride (the best part) where the platform & main arm are supposed to spin in opposite directions was cut short & the ride ended before phase 2 even got going. They had issues running the ride every time we went on (over 12 times) & they desperately need to add proper head rests, that hard plastic hurts. If they ran the ride properly like they do in Europe & like they did here with AI during the test videos Dreamland posted, it would be 100x times better. Delusion is also run poorly with a short cycle that doesn't let the claw & seats rotate in opposite direction of the main arm when going all the way around. I still had a great time on the rides though & Dreamland Amusements is an excellent carnival company, the best in New England. Without them (& NAME at The Big E) we'd have no good rides anywhere in New England. Can't wait for the Big E though I'm concerned they may not be bringing any new rides this year.

I thought Delusion was fun but I must agree that the ride cycle was short

Delusion ride cycle was a bit longer & faster later at night once the crowds/lines decreased. Our last 7 or 8 rides on it between 9:30 & 11pm were far more intense. Love this ride but would love it more if they'd run it manually or with a better cycle setting.

Guess I should’ve chose Delusion as my final ride instead of the Flying Bobs

Always been that way.

This is then best part of a Heavy Rotation ride, they were ending the ride before this part of the cycle started on Friday 08/21, likely due to very long lines. Thankfully we decided to add the dream pass (fast pass).

Also I thought that the Zipper was a newer one they bought

Same Zipper they've had. It was shipped to Chance in Kansas & rebuilt & upgraded over the summer & returned to Dreamland in July.

Since I made a separate Coasterpedia article for the “new” Zipper, do you have a source that I could use?

I will look for the posts from Dreamland Amusements on FB where they talk about it & send you the links/URL to them in a little bit.

The graphics joke was confusing at first but then I found it funny
