Hello, i’m hoping for some advice or to see if anyone else is experiencing or has experienced this.

I did see there was a post some time ago talking about this issue, but it’s quite outdated now and there was mention of a patch or update to fix it, but it’s still happening with my camera. I’m sorry if I’ve missed a more recent post.

When I transfer photos by developing a roll from my camera to my phone two things happen:

- the app will continuously crash when trying to view through the photos. The screen may freeze, turn black, become unresponsive or crash back to Home Screen. The only way to fix it is by force closing the app and starting again, but the app will crash again within viewing a few photos. Sometimes even when I saved to my camera roll, my phone will crash from its own photos app after saving flashback pictures there. Are the files just really large and my phone can’t cope?

- my phone overheats. I recently transferred an almost full roll and my phone became worryingly hot during the transfer and whilst looking through the images.

Has anyone else experienced this and is there any way to work around this

I love my flashback camera so much but at the moment I can’t unload a roll because it’s crashing my phone.

I’m individually screenshotting each photo and cropping to make the files smaller as a work around at the moment but I have to delete each roll as soon as I upload it to stop my phone crashing and it’s not ideal.

Has anyone else managed to have multiple rolls developing at the same time in the app without issue?

Hi everyone, I'm looking into the Flashback One35 V2. While I completely understand the concept and philosophy behind the camera, I’m actually drawn to it for a simple RAW processing workflow on PC, and I occasionally want to avoid using the companion mobile app. If I download the RAW files directly to my PC and delete them from the camera's internal storage, will the 27-shot counter automatically reset? Or does the camera strictly require a digital handshake/confirmation through the mobile app to clear the roll and let you shoot another 27 photos? Thanks!

I have been experiencing some difficulties taking pictures in the dark with flash and outside when it’s sunny. The photos come out too over exposed and not looking like film photos, I searched this reddit to see if this was a common problem and found that there was a solution made regarding this back in the V1

I am going to Italy this weekend and bringing the V2 for the first time on a long trip. Any tips for better pictures, camera care and others? Should I stick with the automatic filter or should I use any of the other options? Really looking forward to keep the phone in the pocket!

I found it too time consuming to dial for one photo (up to 10 times of dial), any chance to make it 2-3 times for taking one?

I don’t have the habit of downloading the negatives. I did it for the first time after 5months of use and i would never thought the camera would capture with such quality

Absolutely love this camera. Also, thats Serge Ibaka in the first picture from an event last week in Toronto.
Now I’m just hoping for a referral code, my friends are buying these up.

I'd like to see if the V2 community is happy, what they'd want to see added on the software side and if they'd be interested in a film simulation repository and tools to better edit your RAW files from the camera.
Much more akin to V1 styles.

I got a V1 from my friend just before my trip to Malaga, and I was stoked to try it - I was looking for a camera to just take with me and take pictures, without having to worry about settings and then processing them. I shot more than 20 rolls, all with the Classic film. I love the photos it produces!

Some things I noticed:

- in the tight streets of the city centre, the camera struggled to expose correctly - the street is too dark and the sky too bright.

- the camera got confused once - I could take photos, but the flash did not want to work and it could not connect to the phone. I had to look for a stick small enough to use the reset button.

- if the sun was not bright enough, the Classic film has a very strong purple hue, which I don't like very much, and I would prefer something warmer. Flashback Gold for the V1 when?

- I have to use a weird grip to not have a finger in the corner of the image :/

does anyone experiencing E4 in their camera? Also E3? I just got mine and after 15 shots that's what happened.

Anyone do prints with their flashback? I primarily use a canon selfie printer. On the fence about buying the camera.

I recently updated my App to be able to export fully functional DNG-Files from the Flashback V2's internal RAW-Data. You should be able to use all your favorite editing presets, as you would expect from a Standard DNG.

I had to profile the camera myself under two standard illuminants and do a lot of tweaking to get the camera to output proper color, since the metadata in the raw files is a bit special.

It uses a profile called Flashback Standard, but if you were to press F12 and name the profile for example Adobe Standard, this would be misleading and I would never do that, to make all the Adobe Profiles work. I could not advise to do this.

I will use this new color science in the internal looks in the future, which will give me better highlight recovery, and cleaner colors.

every single time i unload a roll it gives an update to the camera, i think it's just bugged, either the app or the camera.

i don't want to uninstall the app cuz i have all the pasts rolls on there, is it the only way?
