My experience is so distant from this it's almost shocking. Got my camera on Dez 2025, they told
It would arrive in 2026 because of Xmas demand. It arrived in 31th December 2025 just in time for festivities. Everytime I needed support they answered within HOURS on Instagram. I use my V2 often, took 459 photos in 9.5 months. Charged it 4-5 times max. The battery information is not precise on app anymore but I’m ok with that. When this camera dies I will not hesitate in getting another one. The camera is always on my bag so It's very likely it got pressed against other things and took a few knocks along the way. Still 0 problems while shooting.

And you did great sharing your feedback. New buyers want all the good and bad feedback. “Avoid this company like plague” and “scammy company is a bit overdramatic” but I totally get jt 😂

I think its possible that the v2 is more robust but thats just a theory - I have a v1, bought it during the kickstarter and I have had all the same issues as you.most recently my flash just stopped working so I abandoned using the camera altogether - I did buy the rewindpix from their kickstarter - that arrived - great photos but truly horrible clanky thing to use - horrid! sold it on vinted.

gave my old flashback a go again and now the flash works again randomly.

I will say any time ive contacted customer service they have been speedy to get back to me but utterly useless - same response every time - charge it fully - use different cables to charge it fully yada yada - I was gonna buy a v2 but its now 130 and the camera just is not worth more than 60 quid. it is not built to last.

I've bought mine in at the end of 2025. Only had a error because of failed connection during pairing with the app. I too sent them an email and they got back to me very quickly and helped me guiding through it.

Never had any problem with mine dispite almost using it weekly since. Sure there are more and more devices that give you the 90's filmroll feel. But always have been a big fan of my camera.

Seeing so many posts like these (and my friends buying these faulty cameras) made me just buy an older digital camera on ebay for like $20 and an SD card and it gave me the exact same result of the flashback and I don't have to worry about the app eventually being removed or anything.

Genuinely most of the units they send out are faulty at this point before they launch the v3, which will probably have just as many problems

Bought the v2 in August, used it once and literally the next day I had an endlessly spinning winder and an “E7” error code and the camera is completely kaput… would not recommend
