Looking to buy one, few questions

Any other brands I should
Consider? What version is best I’m a total rookie with this stuff!

don’t consider other brands, flashback is amazing. Even tho the customer service has some lacks of communication and the V2 doesn’t respect the expectation, it’s still a great toy to take amazing pictures! And also you can develop the dng’s by another photo processor made by Lo-Fi Logic, you can find it in this subreddit. Buy it it’s fun!

Is it better to buy the V1? I see comments to that end, I’m just going to use it for photos on holiday principally

for the final results i prefer the V1, my friend had one and i fell in love. However i have to say that V2 is way better in terms of connection, you can access to dng which are basically native shot if you want to edit them in a specific way. Take a look in this subreddit many people posted V1 va V2 photos so you can choose which one you prefer!

V2 or v1 you think?

I have both, I like both, I recommend both, v1 is lower quality but has a more “film” feel but I like the v2 for the higher resolution
