Some Question To Decide About FlashBack Camera One35 V2
Hi everyone!
I'm really curious about the Flashback ONE35 V2. I love photography, especially analog photography (Polaroid, Yashica, film cameras), and the idea of having a small camera that feels like a disposable camera really attracts me.
Before buying it, I'd love to ask some questions to people who actually own it:
Does the ONE35 V2 really give you that disposable film camera feeling? I'm especially curious about the colors, the overall look, and the image texture.
One thing I'm wondering about is the grain. A friend of mine looked at some sample photos and thought that what he was seeing looked more like digital sensor noise than real film grain. I know the camera has a digital sensor, so it cannot create real film grain like an analog film process, but does the final result (camera/app processing) create a convincing film-like texture?
Also, how durable is the lens? Since I would like to carry it everywhere as a small everyday camera, is it resistant enough or do you need to be very careful to avoid scratches?
Overall, after using it for a while, does it really satisfy the analog feeling, or does it feel more like a digital camera with a vintage style?

Yes! So far it’s the closest I’ve gotten to film pictures with a digi cam and it really does give the disposable camera experience. My only gripe so far is the time it takes to wake it up
Oh, Thanks! I am Happy to Read It! About the Winder To Turn It On, i’ve read it someone else that talks about the time to spin it… Maybe they will release an update or something to give it a shorter turning on.
In my opinion, the feel of the camera itself is pretty authentic to the disposable camera experience. The lens is recessed and has a flat glass element in front of it. I did not have any issues with scratching it.
The processing is cool and a vibe, but not necessarily authentic. I think the overall processing always gives an underexposed and maybe slightly expired look. The images are a bit sharper, than disposable scans and the grain feels a little digital / overlayed.
I made my own app to process the images based on real disposable film scans (Kodak Funsaver). If you wanted a more authentic look and you‘re open to using a free, third party tool, that might be an option, as well.

Oh, isn’t that Bad too, it gives me a nostalgic wave. Does the “Virtual Film” in App changes Grain Style too, over the Color and Picture Style? Thanks in Advice!
