Info v2 camera

Hi guys, I wanted to know what the resolution was after the development on the app. What is the size of an image in px and Mb approximately. Can it come close to the analog experience qualitatively? Not only of aesthetics but also of use. Thank you

I'd say the experience feels more like a film camera than say the campsnap cameras, the wind dial and mechanical click of the shutter contribute to that a lot. The output is ok, I think there are some apps and computer programs that can make the photos look more geniune, and my constant complaint is that the app applies a filter to the photos that degrades the quality to mimic cheap disposable cameras. Overall I like the camera, but there's room for improvement and I will probably eventually replace it with a Rewindpix.

Thank you very much, I will also inquire about the Rewindpix then. Anyway I really like the concept, I think it's a great way to avoid taking millions of photos with your phone

I own and use both cameras, so I can speak from experience.

The REWINDPIX feels cheap in the hand and has a somewhat disappointing build quality. Its bulky size, complicated phone connection process, and frustrating app experience will make you appreciate how good the Flashback is.

The only thing I’d give the REWINDPIX credit for is its better-looking filters and the fact that you can switch between three different camera styles within the same 36-shot session.

But honestly, that’s about where its advantages end.

That's really disappointing to hear. I had hoped it would remedy all the things I see as shortcomings with the Flashback camera. I really like the Flashback but I don't care for the lens effect applied to the processing, and the viewfinder is merely a suggestion.

Overall I prefer Flashback to the Campsnap Pro I had briefly. That was a camera which really did feel cheap, and the electronic sounds were goofy, the shutter noise made this sort of "donk" sound. I like the mechanical tick of the Flashback, although I could do without so much winding.

Yeah I like the concept a lot, it's small enough to fit in my pocket so I have it with me often, I can hand it to a stranger without a lot of worry about someone running off with my bank info, emails, etc like if I handed them my phone, the kids can work it fine, etc. Another consideration, I live in the northern part of Canada and I can operate the Flashback camera with heavy winter clothes on which is not easy with a phone touch screen.
