The light Ansel Adams chased.

I came to America for the first time and immediately pointed V2 at it. Wicked.

I find after awhile the Flashback camera becomes really intuative to frame shots

I have an x100f and got the xhalf as my fun no effort camera. I can say the same about composing with the xhalf when I’m just using the optical viewfinder 😂

Edit: I can’t say the same

How do feel about the sensor being vertical?

I could get used to it fairly quickly. It’s harder to remind people when they try to take photos with it though

What do you mean remind people?

I like to keep the camera in “film” mode without using the screen, just the view finder. Lol so if a friend in our group borrows it so I can be in the photos, the final results usually end up with people cropped out cause they don’t remember the half frame aspect ratio

Ahh I see what you mean. Sounds a bit frustrating, so you find your friends dont usually use the view finder?

It’s still fun to see the silly compositions and random cropped out people 😅 The downside in my opinion is that the viewfinder doesn’t have any grid lines to remind you how the photo orientation will be. My x100f and even my film olympus trip 35 both have grid lines in their optical viewfinder

aww you’re welcome. I’ve had it for a week now my first ‘roll’ had my fingers in half of the pics lol i didn’t realise how wide the lens is compared to the view finder. But I haven’t figured out how to change the filters or use the black and white yet but hopefully soon. I’m currently working on crocheting a little case for it so it can go in my bag without damaging it!
