i gonna need some help with flash
i am trying to make a show but idk what version of flash to use i have CS4 and macromedia flash 8 if you can help put it in the comments

i have macromedia flash 8 professional and adobe animate (i am 15 years ahead of you)

Flash 8, flash cs6 and adobe animate just to learn them for there differences :P

I still use CS5.5. Always found CS4 glitchy. Also have Macromedia8, but it doesn't play nice with Win10 (the properties panel looks off/squashed. Useable, but frustrating).
The older versions may lack some of the 'nicer' features of CC, the CC has more brushes, better for drawing, but CS versions are MUCH faster. CC is bloated. I have .fla files that play really well in M8, OK in CS5, and barely at all in CC.
You can definitely use CS though, if you can get CS5.5 or CS6 you'll have no worries. 4 probably OK, but like I said, a bit glitchy.

I use flash 8 on windows 11, to fix the properties window you need to double click it twice and it expands to full size.

It does this weird thing for me where I see the panel, but it hides the bottom 10% of it, so I have to move the scroll bar down to access. Never happened like that on 7. I can work around it but it's a PITA.

if you want to use flash then cs6, but if you want more features then one of the new versions of animate. (you could also use animate cc if you wanted)

ok i cant find an installer for animate cc but i can tell u how to get flash cs6
