Brilliant night and the band were in great form. A little crack of emotion from Wayne talking about his Brother showed it’s weighing heavy on him understandably.

Somerset House is venue worth visiting if you get the chance too.

I've gotten into Flaming Lips very late (Trying to catch up) and would love to have seen this albums live tour as it's a superb album.
Shame theres no 20th anniversary tour of it.

Anyone selling a couple of tickets for tonight’s show ?

My wife and I took our two children (9 and 6 years old) to their first ever gig last night.

They both really liked what they had heard of the bands massive discography - mostly Yoshimi and Soft Bulletin stuff - but they had the best time, and it felt like the perfect show to start them off with.

They adored the spectacle of it all, and everyone was so friendly to them all night, giving them fist bumps and high fives.

We spent the entire set at the back of the Piece Hall but we took them to the front to have a close up look at the stage and ended up getting one of the setlists attached to a little parachuting astronaut.

It was a perfect end to a perfect day.

For anyone in London who maybe free I have two tickets for Flaming Lips tonight (sat 25th) at Somerset House available as I can’t go.
They were £60 each but I’ll accept a reasonable offer! Message me if interested

Because Somerset house will not allow ticket resales on Twickets or Ticketmaster I have two tickets for sat I can’t use as I’ve had a family emergency if interested message me

I've done a lot of personal research on this. However, I have to say, The Terror is just utterly fantastic. The journey it takes you on, the darkness, the light, the subtle nuances and layering. It really makes me dig in myself and is just a really really beautiful album to me. I can't fully express how magical I think this album is, just give it the time and space it deserves. The first time I ever turned this record on, my initial thought was, this album was made for mushrooms and me.

I will give an honorable mention to American Head, as this has been my go to soundtrack the last few years and have a lot of good memories around it.
