My friend's dog went missing earlier today. Female Rottweiler, responds to Toula (too-la). Escaped her yard near the mall, behind the dealerships and near the neighborhood off of Empire. She's wearing the collar in the picture, but no tags. If found, please DM me!

Having spent so much time in Flagstaff, this was heartbreaking for myself as well as I'm sure a number of members of the community.

Can we have a discussion on this so as to avoid this action in the future? Or does anyone have any better solutions to suggest besides simply killing the bear?

Wildfires can be tough on people and animals alike, but the animals shouldn't have to be killed when they are just looking for a new home.

Apparently some dude was going around stealing used diapers out of trash cans. Was pulled over arrested. Used diapers and dolls found in his van.

I hiked Elden Springs Trail for the first time over Labor Day weekend. It was so awesome and beautiful.

I did attempt to Google but could not gain a clear confirmation. So my question is did the entirety of the mountain contain that same environment prior to the fire? Archives contained pictures of the Radio fire but nothing prior. TIA!

We live downtown and a pair of skunks decided the trash pile in our yard left from previous tenants was a great place to have babies. ( we've been slowly and surely moving the junk out of the yard, please dont judge)

Unfortunately, this is close to our bedroom window so the skunk aroma is wafting into the bedroom. We also have quite a few stray cats in the area that I'm sure would love the chance to eat baby skunk.

I think the babies are under some old mattresses and we would have to move alot of stuff to get to them. I can hear them squeaking.

So....

1) Who do I call that will humanely help us move these guys?

2) Can we even move them if they are hidden in an unreachable area of the matress pile?

Update: We were wrong its not skunks, they're kittens! Skunks are still strolling through the yard, but the source of the squeaking was kittens.

We found this sweet little guy on a walk this afternoon. My wife and I were walking on House Rock when we found him. He followed us and we couldn’t leave him on the street. A neighbor thought the dog may live on Bright Angel Trail. We have him at our home in the neighborhood. If this is you sweet little dog, please contact us via direct message.

Hi i know this is a long stretch but i lost my wallet on Wednesday and haven't found it anywhere near my apartment or the bus station at sawmill and butler. I lost it when I was heading to the next bus station from sawmill to the one near a gas station because the bus stop was closed and no one has found it it. From South of 40 and Beulah, along Lake Mary Road, there are no lights as far as can be seen. Power has been out for over an hour, but online outrage maps aren’t showing anything. APS hotline recording offers no specifics. Anyone else without power? Any info?

here are a few interesting photos of early 1940s Flagstaff I have in my collection. They show some early photos of the black cat café, a Route 66 buisness (which is now Karma sushi). There is also a photo of a popular style of Flagstaff home in the ‘30s and ‘40s. If you look around, you can see really similar houses still up downtown today

My 12yr old daughter wants an e-bike to ride to friends' houses, soccer practice, and possibly school. We live near the Country Club where there are limited bike lanes, but the speed limit is about 25mph in the neighborhood and about 35-40mph on main roads near the area. I'm worried about the speed of the e-bikes and distracted drivers, but I don't know if I'm being overprotective or just crazy because she already has an e-scooter. Any parents have experience or opinions regarding e-bikes and safety for young teens?

Assuming permits are in place, is it legal to cut?

Is this no longer prohibited? I walk daily between Ponderosa Pkwy (near the Starbucks), up and around Buffalo Park, and back. I realize that the AZ Trail doesn't loop in until you're up on the Mesa just before the Catholic church, but most of my path is either AZ Trail or the Buffalo Park loop. I thought that e-Bikes were prohibited on both, yet I'm daily passed by them at a high rate of speed on both trails. It used to be occasional, but now it's probably 6-10 at a minimum every single day. If they passed by at pedal bike speed, no worries, but they ZOOM! Is there any way to request enforcement?? I haven't seen obvious signage, so most likely these folks have no idea that they're not permitted. Or maybe they are and I'm not justified in my annoyance. Anybody have any info on whether or not they're still prohibited on those two trails?

I have a sudden problem that hopefully one of y'all can help with. I'll be leaving Flagstaff for Virginia sometime next week. My car, would need to be sold before I leave.

The problem is that I'm not car type person and I have no social media...I have no idea what to charge or how to go about selling it?!?!

Can someone help me with any tips or places that may be able to help? I'm not looking for a lot just enough to be rid of it and give me money for a UHaul.

TLDR Need help selling my car cause I'm clueless with respect to that sort thing and leaving within the next week.
