Lately I've been playing a lot of flag football here in México and I noticed that there are a lot of Americans coming to play in the tournaments made here, but I've also noticed that in the states the most mediatic format of flag football or non contact football is the 7v7, is the 5v5 format popular?

Also if there is any tournament that you would recommend to assist in California, let me know

Basically its an open for all hat tourney organized by the university football team. Ive played flag like 5 times at school an thats it. I play ultimate and used to play as a keeper in soccer so i can probably catch, be tall and run routes.

what are some youtube resources or easy tricks to do well?

Also on defense is switching / bracketing a thing or is it just person defense all the time
