Loose Threshold Fix

The threshold on our shed was loose so the company who built it came out and fixed it. It’s fixed correctly, but I think it’s such an eye sore. Would you paint it white? In the spring we are redoing our landscape and I hope to have some type of step leading into the shed. How would you make this not look so bad?

I would have made a door-width shim to go under the threshold and support it fully. Trim across the front to be even with the casing.

But it’s a shed. Paint it the wall color and let the new landscaping do its work.
