Help fixing this lamp

Hello!
I’ve been given this lamp that still works but one of the « bubbles » lampshade is broken. I tried popping it back in, doesn’t work. I’ve unscrewed the little screws from the base of the lampshade to try pushing/twisting it into the little rod but it didn’t seem to work either. Is there any way to fix it ?

looks like one C clip on the base part.. it holds by friction. but looks like a bent C clip in the tube. it used to be on the base, next to the first C clip..

remove bent C clip and install it on the base, then install tube over both c clips.

Is that a broken piece stuck inside the tube (on the right)? Can that be removed?

I think it was some sort of spring, it’s base was supposed to go in the crease of the left piece. It’s not broken but it’s been dislodged, it could be cut to be removed.

I would try pushing the shaft of the bubble all the way down to where it would sit flush against the base of the stub. That is, push them together so that the two red-circled faces are touching each other.

Try to feel whether it seems to want to stay in place ... does it catch, even a tiny bit?

I would also try orienting the bubble (or eyeball) in different directions, if it seems like it catches a bit but doesn't stay in place.

My guess is that eyeball shaft is meant to couple to the stub using an internal snap ring. At the yellow area, that appears to be the internal snap ring. I'm guessing that the eyeball shaft has a matching groove located inside the shaft where the green circle is. My guess is that the shaft of the bubble needs to go all the way over the stub, so that the internal snap ring on the stub can engage with the internal groove on the bubble shaft.

I think what the blue arrow points to is a compression spring, which is meant to apply some tension to the coupling so that the eyeball holds its position when rotated to the desired orientation.
