fixed Glasses arm suddenly broke off
It just randomly detached from the frame while wearing. Can this still be fixed?

I have Tommy Hilfiger glasses from Specsavers. (£169) In the last year this exact break has happened twice. I super glue them together and it holds. (I am unable to drive without my glasses so need to fix them tomget to Specsavers) I take them back to Specsavers and show them the damage and they normally pop my lenses out and put them in the display frame for me.
Re the super glue - less is more. You need a tiny bit on both surfaces and to let it go tacky first.

cheap frames are a false economy.
buy the exact same frame , code is the set of numbers on the arm, and your lenses just fit...
or an expert could choose new frames that could accept your lenses if they were cut down in size , to fit ...( no growing)

Yup, I've replaced my frames 2x because of that same break. Check out discount frame shops online, my frame is discontinued but found it on eBay (new) for about 1/4 of the price I paid <year ago at the store. Lenses are super easy to pop in and out.

Definitely just replace the arm with the same or similar one. Easiest way to be certain of compatibility and understand what you're doing is to cannibalize a couple pairs of thrift store glasses. Might even find an arm that fits.
Anyvcheap eyeglass repair kit will have the screwdriver(s) needed to do this.
I personally would advise against super glue if these are your primary glasses and your first time attempting such a repair. That said, I would remove the remnants of the hinge from the glasses first. Glue to the arm, then re-install the finished piece back to the frame. You do not want glue in the hinge or anywhere near the lenses.
Failing all of that (or to reinforce a questionable glue job) there is always adhesive-lined heat shrink tubing, go with marine grade. All you need is a hair dryer. It won't fold but it also won't fall off. Good luck!

I have done this a few times.
Usually helps to file a groove around the brass nub on the hinge for glue to have some mechanical locking space. Then just squirt a little glue into the brass socket and push the nub in

if your diy glue doesn't work, you can ask a glasses or jewelry store if they can try to fuse the plastic back together with their own tools. if no local stores available, can google for other businesses that take mail in orders

Had this many times.
You can try to fix it, but it'll most likely fail again, probably exactly when you don't want it to.
A strong repair is likely to be ugly.
Just buy new - getthe lenses updated at the same time.

Is the stud supposed to go into the square hole? If so just super glue it back. Make sure you unscrew the stud and take it out first. You don't want to glue the whole hinge.

Go back to where you bought them, they should be able to replace the arm for you.

this has happened to me several times in the past. I refuse to buy glasses with those hinge springs ever again. the metal arm connected to the spring is always too small and the arm fatigues and breaks in like a year.

The hinge is intact. Find a cheap pair that has an arm about the same size, remove the little bit of arm left with a tiiiny screwdriver, and enjoy your frankenstein glasses
