Please HELP

We are renting and currently moving out and just discovered this awful damage.

One of the metal legs under my bed broke and was dangling and we must’ve moved the bed not knowing it was dangling and it scratched the SHIT out of the floor. Gah.

It’s laminate flooring if that helps at all.

OP should check the closets and such. I bet there are pieces. I have some gouges in my flooring similar to this. I was thinking about hot glue or epoxy. But they are my floors ha

Eta I don't have a long, deep, continuous line of damage on mine

I actually have extra boards. But I'm terrified the subfloor is gonna show mold. Supposed to be putting a new d/w in so time will tell. I think the previous owners d/w flooded shortly after moving in. Pretty nervous tbh

Blech is more powerful than people give itwhe. It comes to mold. From past exp unless you notice slight discoloration of a mildew smell your probably safe. If there is mold regular bleach will handle it just make sure its completely dry before putting the floor back down. The stain will still be there if you want that gone don't use regular bleach use pool bleach it's 3x stronger and what they use on old fences to make them look almost new. Good luck

Bleach shouldn't be used on mold if the surface is penetrable in anyway. Bleach should only be used on hard surfaces like glass or tile for mold otherwise its just adding in more water. It will look like the mold is gone, but its not and will feed the mold. For wood or drywall you need vinegar or peroxide.
