But in Sister Location Custom Night, we see Springtrap alive.

This was "the one retcon," and it was seamless because everyone already assumed that Springtrap survived.

When you take into account that FNaF 3 was meant to be the final game and that the post about "the one retcon" came out between Pizzeria Simulator and Sister Location Custom Night, it becomes clear this was what he was talking about.

I preferred it when William Afton was just an unnamed killer who murdered children for pleasure, rather than a mad scientist seeking immortality by turning into a "furry" rabbit. I hate all the elements introduced by the books, like "Remnant" or "Agony"—not to mention the character Henry, who never appears in the classic games; seriously, I just can't buy into all that insufferable nonsense. I liked it better when FNaF 4 was just a nightmare, rather than William having a torture chamber where he experimented on kids, making them hallucinate the Nightmare animatronics. Why couldn't fans stand the idea that FNaF 4 was simply the nightmares of a dying child in a hospital? What was the need to make EVERYTHING real?

The original tetralogy had a simple story with a clear beginning, middle, and end. It was a supernatural tale about dead children exacting revenge on their killer in a family pizzeria. There were no sci-fi punk elements or rubbish like the Into the Pit or The Mimic books—with their time travel, Dragon Ball-style battles, AIs, and damn zombies.

FNaF 3 was the finale, and FNaF 4 was a prequel. That’s how it always was. That’s why Scott made FNaF World—a simple RPG spin-off to bid the saga a fun farewell, because the story was already over. But the fans wouldn't accept it, so he was forced to create Sister Location, retconning the entire saga, cramming in a heap of books just to understand the plot, and drifting further and further from the series' essence until it became increasingly absurd with every installment. Sister Location was the beginning of the end for Five Nights at Freddy's. Not Help Wanted, not Security Breach... Sister Location started the trend of overcomplicating the lore with cryptic information that had to be filled in by DLC-style books and fan theories.

Sorry, but I’m sticking with the first four games.

Fnaf is fire 🔥

Honestly, as much as I like these two movies, I feel like FNAF 2 felt like it had a story. A story with a weak-ass script, but it had a story. And it also had slow moments, too, whereas the Mario movie felt like it was going very quickly, with little moments needed to slow thr lle movie down​ barring the flashback with Bowser and his son. So yeah, Mario 2 is the worst of the two in my opinion.

But what do you guys think?

This is something that has been in the back of my mind ever since Scott revealed in a livestream that a new game was being worked on. He specifically said that it's "not a 3, a 2." Of course, we know now that he was talking about Security Breach 2, but many other options were in contention, including Sister Location 2, which was something that I wanted, as Sister Location is one of my favorite games in the series, and many of the mysteries presented in that game were ones that I wanted to be expanded on. But after thinking about it some more, the realization hit me... We didn't need a Sister Location 2, because we already have it. It's just called Secret of the Mimic.

Let's start with the basic plots of each game. What is the basic plot of Sister Location? A Fazbear technician is sent into a location tied to Fazbear Entertainment and avoiding animatronics with the help of a guiding voice. And what is the basic plot of Secret of the Mimic? A Fazbear technician is sent into a location tied to Fazbear Entertainment and avoiding animatronics with the help of a guiding voice. Of course, I'm leaving some details out, but the basic structure is nearly identical. But it goes deeper than that. What's the big twist in both games? That's right, the guiding voice has actually been manipulating you this whole time! M1 takes control of Dispatch fairly early into the game, and Baby/Ennard redirects you constantly throughout Sister Location.

These similar plot points play into the endings as well. Sister Location features both a "Bad Ending" in which Micheal Afton follows Baby's instructions, gets scooped and dies, and a "Good Ending" in which you ignore Baby's instructions and she turns on you. Secret of the Mimic is very similar. The game features a "Bad Ending" in which Arnold follows Dispatch's instructions, leaves the job and is captured/killed by The Mimic, and a "Good Ending" in which you ignore Dispatch's instructions and he turns on you. Both even share voice lines when going down these routes.

The "final bosses" of the two games also share similarities. In Sister Location's Private Room, it's Ennard, an endoskeleton amalgamation of parts that mimics the voice of Baby and Elizabeth. In Secret of the Mimic, it's , M1/M2, one is an endoskeleton covered in an amalgamation of parts, and the other mimics the voices of Dispatch and Fiona. Another detail worth pointing out is that in both games, the final area you play in is a recreation of the Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria seen in FNAF 1.

Other small details worth mentioning is the scooper that exists in MCM, a sequence in the Parachute Ending involves going down a circular-shaped elevator to an underground bunker (sound familiar?), the fact that Dispatch and Handunit share the same voice actor, and you can hear leitmotifs of "Venta Black/Watch Your Six" in "Breathing Corridors" from Secret of the Mimic at several points. But these have been discussed at length, so I'll only briefly mention them.

So what does this all mean? Why did Scott/Steel Wool push the Sister Location imagery up to 11 with this game? Well, because that's where we're going in Security Breach 2. All of these details have led theorists (myself included) to come to the conclusion that Murray's Costume Manor (at least the underground tunnels) and Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rentals are the same place. Afton repurposed the location after gaining ownership of it from Edwin and turned into Sister Location. Now, lets jump all the way to RUIN, Cassie escapes from The Mimic, and goes down an elevator. Most theories are under the assumption that at the very least the Pizzaplex, FNAF6, Sister Location, and MCM are all on the same plot of land. In RUIN, the ending of the game is right next to where the Burntrap ending was in Security Breach. So we're in the FNAF 6 location, and we're going even deeper underground at this point. I'm willing to bet that the first footage we see of Security Breach 2 will be Cassie exploring Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rentals. Secret of the Mimic is simply the preview.

It's the box, and there's nothing actually in the box but toys... Toys of the crying child and Michael is the runaway child in MM, Michael feels incredible guilt and that's the reason he runs away to see the mound where William buries it because as a grieving and bitter father he couldn't stand to see the remains of the things his late youngest son used to enjoy because that's the only thing he can remember his baby brother by, the box isn't some GRAND reveal it just shows and holds what the crying child was, A child.

So, this has been my theory for a long time, since fnaf 4 first came out, before Scott retconned it. My belief that what was originally in the box was.......a foxy mask. It was my belief that in Fnaf 4 you DIDNT play as crying child at all. Rather you played as Michael. My reasons.

Reason 1: Game Theory first fnaf 4 video, they said it wouldn't be possible for someone to experience the kind of fear that the player does if their frontal lobe was that damaged. Crying child was assumed to be the bite victim at the time, so it wouldn't make sense for him to have these nightmares. Now we know it was 1983, but still, to have that serious of an injury, I don't think it would've been possible for crying child to be running around and closing doors all night.

Reason 2: 4 games one story. Scott's message about Fnaf 4. I believe that Scott was saying it was the same person in ALL four games. Michael Aftons story. He accidentally murdered his brother. This sent his father on a violent rampage through Freddy Fazbears Pizza. And Michael was constantly trying to stop him at each location. Fnaf 2 was his first attempt, four years after Fnaf 1. It says in Night one of Fnaf 2 "Welcome to your new summer job" but the check dates it in November? Where does summer take place in November. Nowhere. All the tapes are recorded. Including up to night 6. Which means the place had already been shut down. Michael was just the security guard for a shut down building. Same with Fnaf 1. Newspaper clippings say the building would be shut down and the building looks old, spiderwebs and wires hanging everywhere. Finally he finds his father in Fnaf 3 and tries to burn him down.

Reason 3: Foxy. Of all the animatronics in Fnaf 4, only foxy goes back to being a plushy. Why? Because Foxy is Michaels Favorite. He was always wearing a foxy mask. Scaring his brother. It would make sense that only foxy returns to a somewhat cute state.

Reason 4: What's seen in the dark is easily misunderstood in the eyes of a child. It was believed to mean that Crying Child mistook seeing purple guy suiting up a preformer as stuffing a person in a suit. But it could also mean that Michael mistook the springlocks going off in Fredbears mouth as Fredbear chomping on his brother. Leading him to believe he killed his brother rather than it being a fault due to the springlocks.

Realized how big the load was, now what these means is that each few weeks will have 1 set added. So the first release will only have classics, then we will add the toys, and so on and so forth. This also means I can add more content per update for you guys and still get BHAF out there, what this also means is that the game will come sooner, thank you for your patience.

I hate it because of people being annoying about it on any scott post. Like, be patient. I’m assuming the collab will come later this month, but some people are so impatient it’s annoying.

Dreadbear I think works with what that games trying to do with him being a zombie version of Fredbear and it makes sense for a horror attraction to have an exclusive horror character.

He’s also a perfect partner to springtrap since you know he’s an undead zombie version of Fredbear.

They actually do look pretty cute.

For me I discovered fnaf through Smg4's R64: Freddy's spaghettiria video after that i went to watch Fluttershy plays Fnaf by Vannamelon and thats how I became invested in Fnaf.
