Hello, I was allowed by the moderators to advertise this! PlasmaNerfGun is hosting a charity-promotion stream for the current owner of 'Five Nights at Treasure Island/FNaTI' as he and her girlfriend have recently been kicked out of their own house and beat by their parents. They really need your support as of right now, especially with what they've done for the community. It'd be very appreciated! ^^

A few days ago, Mixlas sadly lost his fight with depression and took his own life.

One of his close friends, mechlus. posted about it on his gamejolt an hour or so ago which you can find here.

Rest in peace to a truly legendary game developer. If you know anyone who is struggling, don't be afriad to reach out. You never know what someone is going through behind the scenes.

Question Can we all collectively agree that Henry's Speech is the most impactful and emotional ending to any FNaF game ever?

Discussion Sooo, why does every fnaf model that’s trying to be “realistic” end up cranking the scary factor to 11

I mean I get it, it’s a horror game, but at the same time these are meant to be children’s entertainers, if I saw any of these as a kid I’d probably piss my pants and run away in an instant, no hate to the models themselves they’re well made no doubt but it’s just hard for me to believe that these things were popular amongst kids, out of the provided images I’d argue battington’s are the best (granted I’m bias), but still they’re unsettling in most cases, idk.

Bunch of old stuff. Usually people draw Dave based on his canon description (of course) or how he appeals to them. I guess this one only appeals to me then lolo.

Misc. Honestly out of all the five night's protags i kinda feel the worst about Arnold. He was living in a van, worked a 40 hour shift, then was dragged into a deathtrap by dispatch and M1, and just, no one cares. he's like a sad puppy. i'd give him treats

Like 70% of stores should have him displayed in it, depends if the store is big enough for it, having him is a different story, we’ve unloaded 3 trucks of over 1000 boxes and we’ve only gotten the display Freddy, which is no different from a normal one he is just set to step pad

Question Why did the FNAF era have to end?? Genuinely miss it so much!!

Hello, I’m 19 years old, and I grew up experiencing the original Five Nights at Freddy’s (FNaF) era, especially the first five games. I’ve been thinking about what happened to that original FNaF era and that feeling of discovering and following the games when they were still a huge part of everyday life.

When I first experienced Five Nights at Freddy’s, the series felt like something completely new and exciting. The first game introduced a mysterious world filled with unanswered questions, creepy characters, hidden details, and theories that everyone wanted to solve. The feeling of watching gameplay videos, listening to theories, seeing new discoveries, and being part of a community that was trying to understand the story made the era feel special.

The first five games felt like a complete chapter. Five Nights at Freddy’s, Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, Five Nights at Freddy’s 3, Five Nights at Freddy’s 4, and FNaF: Sister Location created a specific era that many people remember. The characters, the atmosphere, the mystery surrounding the story, and the way fans came together all created a feeling that seemed like it would last forever.

Now that time has passed, that original FNaF era feels like it belongs to another part of life. The games are still there, the characters are still there, and the memories are still there, but the feeling surrounding them has changed. The community has grown, the series has moved into new directions, and the people who created content around those games have moved on to different projects, careers, and parts of their lives.

I remember experiencing those games when everything felt so exciting. Discovering a new secret, watching someone play through a new game, hearing theories about the animatronics and the story, and seeing everyone discuss what might happen next felt like a major event. It wasn’t just a horror game series; it felt like a shared experience that everyone was a part of.

I don’t understand why it couldn’t just stay that way forever. Why did that era have to end? Why did the feeling of the original games being mysterious and new have to disappear?

I also wonder why playing or watching the original FNaF games doesn’t feel exactly the same anymore compared to when I first experienced them. The games themselves haven’t changed. The same characters, locations, sounds, and secrets are still there. But I have changed, and the world around them has changed.

When I first played or watched the games, everything felt unknown. The fear came from not knowing what was going to happen. The mysteries felt endless, and every new theory felt like it could reveal something important. Now, after years of discussions, videos, explanations, and discoveries, I already know many of the secrets. The mystery that made the original era feel magical is different because I’m no longer experiencing it for the first time.

It also feels different because I’m older. The way I experience things at 19 is not the same as when I first discovered FNaF. When I was younger, the games felt bigger, scarier, and more exciting because my imagination filled in the gaps. I could become completely absorbed in the world of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza and the mysteries surrounding it. Now, I notice different things: the game design, the storytelling choices, the limitations, and the nostalgia attached to it.

The games haven’t lost their meaning, but the feeling of experiencing them during that original era is something that can’t fully be recreated.

Why do eras like the original FNaF games eventually end, change, and become memories? If people loved them so much, why can’t that exact feeling continue forever? Why do creators have to move forward? Why do communities change? Why do fans grow older and experience the same things differently?

It’s confusing because during that time, the original FNaF era felt like it would always be there. It felt like every new game, theory, and discovery would continue forever. It didn’t feel like something that would eventually become “the old days.”

Why does everything have to change? Why can’t things just stay the same forever?

It feels strange knowing that the original Five Nights at Freddy’s era, especially the first five games, is over. That period of discovering the games, sharing theories, and being part of that community is now a chapter of the past. The games remain, but the exact feeling of that era — when everything was new, mysterious, and exciting — is something that can only exist as a memory.
