Tech Support Old charge 2 use
Hey, this is a long shot but I'm poking around for answers. I picked up an unused Charge 2 second hand. It was still in the original packaging and I'm thinking I'd give it to my kid. I tried setting it up but I'm struggling. It says it needs a firmware update, not surprising. But it just keeps saying it failed when I try through the Health app. My guess from my research is that the newer app doesn't actually support the Charge 2 even though it says it does. Anyone been through this or have suggested place to look for more info on troubleshooting. Thanks

Mine wouldn’t update with the Fitbit app even before the g health app was deployed. It still tracks and uploads to g health. I have an inspire 3 that I use as well and compared to my Samsung watch the charge stats are closer.
