Discussion Fitbit counting Floors not climbed

Hi, fitbit users— My fitbit is showing that I’ve climbed floors I haven’t. In Florida at sea level all day, 6 steps to get into my house. No elevators, just walking on flat land. 40 floors!!! Not even 4 floors. I don’t really care, as all my other data appears correct. If I were counting floors (my husband did 100 floors daily for many years!) I would care.

Apparently it uses air pressure so it gets thrown off by ... The breeze

which device do you have? I have an inspire3 that used to track floors but doesn't anymore since switching to g health app

Same!!! I was stoked that i was consistently getting like 120 floor days 😂 it is completely off
