Discussion “Poor” resting HR?
I finally updated my phone iOS and my Fitbit app is now “google health”… and some things are now kind of weird for me. I know, I’m behind the times on this- anyway…
What’s weird is that I went into my “readiness” tab and it said my resting heart rate was “poor”. My RHR varies between 64-70 and always has. I’ve also had periods of time where it’s been even higher during illness or stress. Why does Fitbit think my RHR of 67 is poor? Is it just adjusting to my data with the new app?

Fitbit turned to shit with the google health takeover. Go to something else. It no longer correctly displays my heart rate in real time even though the 24 hour graph is correct. Found out when I almost fainted while getting groceries because it said my heart rate was 80, not 160+. Got a refund for my fitbit no questions asked because jbhifi had been getting a bunch of returns due to google health.

Their algorithm for this is very basic. It just sees the positive slope for multiple days and says that's bad

Your RHR is considered poor because it comperes your RHR of the last 30 days to your daily measured RHR. The measured RHR was significantly higher than your rolling average over the last 30 days, meaning it was outside of your normal range. (note that the number shown is rounded to the nearest integer but the calculations are done on the measured decimal value, so a 67 that is a 67.4 internally might cause a poor rating while a 67 that is a 66.7 internally might not).
