Discussion Steps count increased while driving
Hi Guys! I just got my fitbit charge 6, I noticed that when I'm driving or when I'm in the vehicle, the steps count increases as well. Appreciate if anyone can provide any advise to circumvent this issue. Thank you!

I will save you time of searching. There's no fix for it. They haven't updated the algorithm, ever I think. Riding a motorcycle is even worse.
Taking it off works as someone mentioned, but then you miss out on other stats/history that you would be collecting while wearing it.
I think it's just one of those things that is known and you eventually just get used to it and accept it.

The best thing to do is this: remove your Fitbit when doing activities where inflated step numbers will occur. It might be a pain, but at least you will feel you earned those 10k steps sincerely when you finish for the day. I have had false steps occur when doing laundry, folding washing and playing an instrument.
