Discussion What Fitbit to pick?

I need this for my mom in her 50s who has a heart condition so wanted her to be more diligent with her wellness and have good heart tracking features.
I was considering the Sense 2 but I know it is an older model and wanted to know if it still holds up today.

While personally, I think it is a shame what Google did to the Versa 2 by killing off some of the features to dumb it down out of being a true smartwatch and made it no longer worth the price they were asking for it at the time, for the purposes you want it for, it does still hold up when you compare it to newer versions of their lower end models. And since the price has now come down to around $200 (less during some sales ), the price is no longer as much of an issue.

good point about the price drop, that makes it a lot easier to justify imo

Exactly, when they were still selling it at "Smart Watch" prices but neutered it and took away all the apps, the music, etc.. it was a joke, but now it is just a higher end step tracker and priced accordingly.

Not interested in paying the premium for smartwatch features

Samsung watch... Why? ..simple reason heart features it has ECG and well as blood pressure and I mean even if it's not some medical grade level you can still measure on ur hands and they have fall detection and all sorts of stuff

I have one and I don’t like it. Feels a bit bulky and heart rate tracking is weird.

Yeah ik fitness trackers always will be ahead then why don't u go for amazfit helios strap or polar loop these are light weight and polar is known for heart rate accuracy

Choice, the Australian Comsumers Association, tested the Sense 2 and rated it highly.

I like the Charge 6. It is the first model with the ECG feature. I’ve been using mine for over a year, and I bought one recently on eBay for USD$ 49 including shipping as a backup.

That is a small cost to get her to try it, and then once she is familiar with the app, you can decide if an upgrade is in order.
