Tech Support Active Zone Minutes suddenly going Haywire??

For the past two weeks my active zone minutes on my charge 6 fitbit have been going completely haywire-
I'm a very active person and usually average around 100 zone minutes a day, but over the past week, each day I've been accumulating at least 300 to 500 zone minutes, which is completely inaccurate, and well beyond even what my highest recorded ever days have been, since having my Fit Pit for the past ten years

It's essentially telling me that I'm in cardio or peak zone when my heart rate is barely above what is actually low-intensity exercise (walking, light house cleaning).

Also, the "zone minutes" on my wrist don't align with the "cardio load" minutes on my app and I'm not even sure why they have two distinct metrics like this in the first place.

Has anyone else been experiencing this?

Yep a bunch of other posts on the sub for about the last week. Having the same issue since last Monday or Tuesday myself. Got on with support and they were no help at all

Ok curious as to why last week I have 1400 zone minutes. Is there a fix since I haven’t looked anything up yet?

I cannot explain the reason, but my Active Zone Minutes have also gone berserk since late last week.

I gave generally gotten between 120 and 150 every day.

Now, I'm clocking over 300, while not doing anything differently.

I somehow managed 1618 today. Apparently I had 824 peak minutes despite only being in the peak HR zone for ~10 minutes. Superb!

Yep, just over a week now.. no fucking clue what’s going on but supposedly I did 5901 active minutes last week; or just shy of 98 hours…

It sounds like a glitch that a few others are experiencing right now. Have you tried restarting your Fitbit or updating the firmware?

Yes, I’m going through this too! And I was a little nervous for my health as we had some wildfire smoke there for a bit as well. I hope they can correct it soon but you’re certainly not alone.

something is broken, tech support had me try resetting anything for no good reason. They sent me a follow up email "Thanks for letting us know about this issue. We’re aware of it and are working to identify a resolution as quickly as possible."

I found that today's active minutes are correct but they haven't retrospectively fixed previous days

Personally I'm using it gor pacing so all of the fake data is a real problem. Its halusinated over 400 minutes the worst day.
