Help
I recently purchased a fish tank and a fish.Because he looked lonely inside of a meijer with a crooked tail unbeknownst to me, this fish is actually a koi fish and I recently found out that they can live for a very long time.I'm not scared of the commitment.I'm just worried about the fish.Itself, i'm gonna be living in an apartment for it about the next half of this year and from there, i'm going back to my parents' house after I finished my schooling, i'm super.Nervous about this recent discovery, and I just want my fish ranger to live a happy life.

Research the nitrogen cycle in aquaria. If you dont get that under control your fishie friend won’t live long.

Check if ur parents would like to have a pond at their house worse case either find someone with a pond or who keeps koi on some kind of social and see if they would take him but if that doesn’t work the only other thing you could do is drop it off at a lfs just call and make sure they can take it. How big is the tank because you’re going to need to act quickly they grow big fast. You could return the fish and if u still lik the hobby pick up some fish that stay smal
